Having an interesting protagonist to control can be just as rewarding as playing a "blank" character, perhaps even more so as you get to see how the protagonist reacts to the game. The fact that she's hot doesn't hurt either. Clearly the old adage that sex sells is alive and kicking.

I got vertigo from the game; especially when I mistimed a jump and went plummeting to my death. Brilliant.

Yes, Fay does end up talking on occasion. She isn't the psychotic silent type.

That said, I've been playing the demo (along with time-trial mode) and it's so far very amusing to say the least, and quite interesting on top of that. I was a huge fan of Breakdown for the Xbox (Original), and this makes me smile to see full body awareness pop up like this again.

I was under the impression that you see the character in cut scenes and animated sequences, although I wouldn't swear to it.

It's interesting that a female video game character's lack of enormous boobs can become a talking point. A new dawn for video game design? I won't hold my breath (although realistically I would only need to hold it until the new Tomb Raider comes out).
