It might be trolling, but it's not very good trolling. First of all the beginning comment is just confusing, it has nothing in it to get people agitated, it just doesn't make any sense. Second, his second comment explaining his first comment is intended to offend, but it still doesn't make any sense, I think PC and console games have always cost about the same. At least they have in my memory. So this is some pretty epic troll fail.

Actually, judging by the response in this thread, the trolling was a complete, runaway success.

Actually, PC Elitists piss me off more. They seem to forget that if it wasnt for consoles the gaming industry would have stayed dead in the water after Atari fucked it up for everyone. Gaming was, after Atari, considered a dead past-time until the NES stormed the castle and popularised the medium of entertainment with a cutlass between its teeth.
I rather find the term "consoletard" offensive as well. You may think you have made a generalisation there mate but you've basically just kinda ruined for all the PC gamer community as well. Ive often heard of them as being arrogant, whiney people that complain about prices and have a fucking God complex. Thats a generalisation I think sums up the OP very very well.

I don't understand why PC games should always be cheaper. If it's a digital copy, fair enough, you're saving on packaging and transport. If it's a physical copy just like the console version, it should be priced just like the console version. I'm a PC gamer myself btw.

Actually, console games are usually priced a bit higher than PC games. Why? Because the game sales are used to subsidy the consoles themselves. Since that is pretty much much non-applicable with PCs, yeah, PC games are usually a bit cheaper. On the other hand, who the fuck cares, it's 10 bucks. Most people make that in an hour, tops.
Also, I own both a PS3 and an X360, but I only ever use them to play stuff exclusive to the platform. No way in hell am I even going to play a shooter on a controller if I can avoid it.

Well it's rather a relevant point considering console games cost ~£15 more because money will go to MS or Sony, whereas a PC game doesn't have a "host company" or whatever you want to call it.

I.e. There's no excuse for them to not be cheaper.
