That's an awfully negative view to hold. Also, you seem to have this bizarre image of me shouting things outside of shops. I'm a person on the internet, not some strange town crier.AndyFromMonday said:I'm guessing when they raise the prices to a hundred bucks you'll be the guy at the shop entrance shouting the same thing, right?MurderousToaster said:Holy shit, that's...that's... the same price as a normal game!
What heresy is this? How dare a company try and make a profit off of something a team has been working on for years. The scoundrels and scallywags!
We ought to give them what-for! Their reign of putting prices up by insignificant amounts to anybody who actually has the capacity to earn money must end for the good of the entire world!
My point was that getting angry at them for it is stupid. It's an insignificant price rise. And when you account for the whole economic downturn thing and the fact that the FPS scene is an incredibly competitive market, it's reasonable to raise the price a little to account for such losses. If they'd raised the price to an insane level I'd probably disagree it too.
It's not like I want games to be more expensive, it's just that I don't mind one game being slightly more so. I actually think it was a stupid move to put the price up to the same as its' main competitor (people looking for a bargain will be discouraged). I just don't see why this guy's getting so mad about it.
