If it's a female cat, call it Blaze, since Blaze is currently the only character in the Sonic series that's still cool. Or if you don't want to be that cliche, I suggest "Lyndis" from Fire Emblem. It's just a cool name. Oh, or Sheba from Golden Sun if it's a female. Sheba sounds like a good cat name.
