Did you see "The Simpsons Guy" yet? Did you like it? Did you dislike it? Or did you maybe find it good but not great? What do you wish they'd have done? What do you wish they hadn't done?

It's an interesting insight, but there's no getting around the fact that the quality of the writing has deteriorated dramatically since the series heyday, and the show has probably outstayed its welcome for at least a decade now, if not longer. Every show has a shelf life, even an extremely flexible one like The Simpsons. Many if not most peak creatively in their 2nd-4th seasons and begin a long, steady decline thereafter.Jonathan Hornsby said:I just feel like ?the Simpsons suck? because the average sitcom family is no longer analogous with or the ideal of the average American family, as it was when the show started.
I'll have to agree with you. I gave it many chances but its just not my style. And ratings tend to back my opinion up as the majority. Sorry Bob's lovers, but its true its damn true.Jonathan Hornsby said:Subjective opinions and all that. Personally I HATE Bob's Burgers. The humor is flat, the animation is awful, and worst of all it's just plain BORING.McMarbles said:Re: the Bob's Burgers gag: It's never a good idea to try making fun of a show that's leagues better than your own.
Best part of both shows last night was that Don Hertzfeldt couch gag,
I AM SAMP SAN.
