I love the oozing saturation of strict fucking irony with this comment.

WHY THE HELL NOT? Three assholes get together and make a shitty movie and apparently ALL AMERICA is to blame... including but not limited to people who were in OTHER countries when it took place.
I'm incredibly confused by your comment, and I'm wondering where blame was assigned to anyone in my original post.

An explanation would be appreciated.

Edit: All I said was a rather sarcastic comment meant to point out that public protest isn't anything new, and that said protestors don't necessarily represent the whole, or even a significant portion, or the society/group to which they belong.

It's a small bunch of people protesting- like, a couple of hundred out of a country with well over 20 million people living in it.
That's far from "Australia now hating Americans."

Well, fortunately, the usual racist bigots have been SMSing each other (like they do) and they are planning to attack the next protest, so that's one riot each.
YOU HAVE CONFIRMATION OF AN ATTACK ON A CIVILIAN TARGET AND YOURE SHARING IT HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?
What the fuck dude! Tell the DoD or the NSA or the UN! Where did you hear this?! What's being done to combat it?! Who said they were going to attack a protest?!

I apologize for the caps rage but this could be a life-or-death situation and cause for civil war.
Dude chill. It was in the paper this morning. The police are looking into it.

...Tell the UN?
I was wondering more about telling the NSA.

And...cause for a civil war? C'mon.

I still think we should stop giving the Muslims the attention they crave and just let there silly ranting BS fall on deaf ears instead of bowing to there every whim. They need to stop, and before someone says that its not all Muslims do you ever see supposed non fanatics protesting against them like we Christians do against Westboro Baptist Church? No you do not.

Well, if you are living under a rock with your fingers in your ears, you don't.

Otherwise, you might well do so, especially if you look at the links to stories and pics people have been adding in threads on the forums here.

What I am getting at is all you see is Muslims this and Muslims that I wanna see a thread where a handful of non extremist Muslims take the fight to the extremists for once in stead of just saying its the minority like cancer it starts out in the minority then it eventually kills you if you do not remove it.

Never mind all that political rubbish. This should be the real concern about Australia.

They're harmless. I know, I've raised one.

Aussie have the Sea Shepherd and they also have lots of Japan lovers.
No country will totally like another country.
Though I think the Americans have the tendency to over react when another country dislikes them.

So basically, now there protesting at U.S. embassy in freaking AUSTRALIA...

So... I ask, what the hell is up with Australia hating us 'Mericans now?
It's CNN, the very definition of liberal media. Next time I suggest not believing anything they say. Check a more credible site like huffington post, BBC, Fox news, or daily mail.
Fox News? Daily Mail? You have got to be kidding me....
Yeah, he won my award for funniest post of the day.

CNN: One of the most reputable and trusted news sources is "Liberal Media".

Whilst HuffPo, the actual extreme Liberal one is "Credible", despite also posting anti-medicine and anti-vaccine nonsense.

And of course, Fox News, the propaganda kings, known for their almost-racism, and always-stupid commentary.

And of course, the Daily Mail, Britain's least reputable tabloid, known for publishing whatever nonsense might increase their readership.

Can I add one to the list? The Onion-I hear it's pretty accurate...
Better than them all is Dale Mailey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYObyDHGLSA

OT: Everyone has the right to peaceful protest. Thats a given, however peaceful tends to get hijacked pretty easily by a very, very small minority within the larger group.

In football riots, the Danish police(i think?) used a technique that targeted the violent minority of large groups of people. Out of a crowd of a few thousand they arrested 6 people, leading to the entire situation being diffused

It seems this weekend's protest aren't going ahead, nobody turned up today except the police.

I'm more surprised that you think every nation has to like yours.
"Like"? We frankly don't give a shit of you like us. We just ask that you don't start violent protests. There *is* a happy medium, you know.

PS I'm well aware that these people don't represent the whole of Australia. By the way, this consideration is a courtesy rarely afforded to Americans.
Again, why do you think you deserve that consideration?

I live in Mexico and we don't expect anyone to like us, and if we like someone it's mostly arbitrary. I think that's the main reason a lot of people I know don't like the US, the population feels like they are entitled to a lot of stuff..

Don't get me wrong, I do like the US, my Grandma is a citizen, my mother is a citizen and I am a citizen, I really do like the US, I just don't like a lot of the people there.
I'm not sure you realize you're questioning our right not to have our sovereign territory invaded by violent protesters. Yes, we deserve that consideration. Everyone does. ...Not sure if you're trolling.
The protesters didn't invade the Embassy, they protested outside of it in Australian territory..
