I'm sorry if I'm not the first to post these news but search didn't find anything so here goes!
So another Valve employee has been seen wearing a T-shirt with "Half Life 3" written on it [http://lambdageneration.com/posts/apparently-valves-art-director-jeremy-bennett-wore-a-half-life-3-t-shirt-to-comic-con-2011/] , complete with the fabled lambda logo with the number 3 next to it.
Now as anyone with internet access already knows, this is not the Half Life 3 t-shirt to be spotted in public. But it is the first time we see the shirt on a confirmed, current Valve employee. Here?s the interesting part; the picture on which the employee was seen wearing the shirt was taken back in 2011 at the Comic Con. So we know that back in 2011, Valve has of some strange unknown reason been producing shirts with the most controversial and long-awaited game logo in the history conspicuously printed on it.
Not only that, the employee in question, Jeremy Bennett is an art director from Valve who worked on Half Life Episode 2 and was the artist behind the recently released Half Life 3 concept art. It all makes it hard to imagine that this is all just another hoax.
There is no doubt in my mind that Half Life 3 is being developed. The array of never-ending Half Life 3 rumors and references, coupled with the evocative silence from Valve, certainly suggests that something strange is going on.
If Valve had no intention of ever releasing Half Life 3, they would make it absolutely clear that the game is not in the making and work to end all misguided speculation which would only serve to bitter their fans and steal attention from their existing IP. Instead, they seem to be handing out Half Life 3 T-shirts to their employees.
So what's going on here people? Are Valve employees whistleblowing about the existence of a top-secret Half Life 3 development?
