I know a good chunk of the people took part in the whole mess for the sake of it. They thought it would be a good joke and a lot of people found it hilarious (I know I did). But it was also a lot of people getting pissed about Valve not communicating with the player base and that they just kinda cancelled it and left players hanging. Of course it's still doesn't mean they have the right to complain. The game is free so they should just shut the hell up and be happy its not like LoL's shitty model where people have to BUY heroes.
You have no idea what you are talking about, sir.

Unless for you "buy" means using in-game points, then well, yes. How terrible.
I am completely aware of the fact that you can obtain the heroes without spending a penny. But from what my friends tell me it takes insanely long to unlock all the heroes and they just ended up buying the heroes. Whatever, didn't mean to turn this into a LoL vs Dota 2 thread.

By buy he means in game points it takes ages to grind, so everyone just buys riotpoints and pics up whatever they want.
Unless he really is as ignorant as you think.

OT:I wish they just ignored the little whiny kids and just gave us a little update saying big stuff is coming.
Showing people that acting like little shits work is never a good idea.
Thanks for actually understanding what I meant in my post :D
Although I should have been more clear and I agree with you. I feel a little ashamed as someone who plays Dota that they're actually giving the players diretide. Heck I'd just be happy with a couple new heroes because its been a few months since the last hero got released

Man, Valve is far more tolerant than I am. After the way the community acted, I would have just not given them anything. No use in encouraging that excessively spoiled behavior.
