So What did you think about the Royal Wedding

Watched a bit. Was interested by the security detail. Observed that the "red stiff English guardsmen" (Proper: The Grenadier Guard) don't look as proper and officious when they're all standing at attention with SA 80s / L85a2 bullpup assult rifles.

TL;DR - The short modern rifles don't look quite right on these dudes ^ for ceremony.

Yeah you're right. They had to devise a whole lot of different manoeuvres for holding the guns during parades, and it really doesn't look right. They also don't sound right, there were lots of distinctive rattles and cracks as they moved those long rifles around.

Also a modern weapon looks kind of weird with a bayonet on it.

I was quite disappointed by their kiss. I mean, it could've been more romantic or passionate. Instead, it was a very brief peck.

you're really into stuff like this huh? i'm not tryna be rude or anything, just interesting to see that's your complain about the wedding.

me on the other hand, found out about it yesterday and i honestly do not care, didn't even turn on the TV. Not a fan of stuff like this at all.

Well, no. I didn't really care. I just watched it 'cause I was bored.
