SO! What do you want to see from Season 4 of MLP?

Now that we've got a release, well, season, I guess (winter) with an episode count (26) and all, I figured now's as good a time as any to start the speculation and wish-lists of what you want to see.

Joke answer: Since it's apparently become fannon that Luna is a gamer, I want a 26-part Let's Play of Bioshock Infinite with her.

Serious answer: Well, this is half-serious because I know this isn't going to happen but it's more likely than my last answer.
I think it would be really cool if the producers collaborated with some big-name bronies. Daniel Ingram composing music with Mando and AcousticBrony and PinkiePieSwear. See the voice actors for Rainbow Dash Presents make a cameo in the show, that kind of stuff. I think that would be cool.

SO! What would simply please you if you saw it in Season 4?

That's ridiculous. The game will be almost a year old by that point, no way Take-Two ponies up enough cash for that kind of product placement.

Nah, they should lean on Hasbro synergies and spend all season playing Magic: The Gathering. It should be like they've just redubbed Yu-Gi-Oh with horse puns.

Seeing at least one of the cutie mark crusaders getting their cutie marks would be nice. It is almost agonizing how close they get to finding their special talents. Aside from that, I suppose it would be nice to see an episode centered around luna and celestia. Flesh out their relationship a bit.

Seeing more of the ponies parents would be nice, because so far we have only seen twilight's, rarity's, pinkie's parents. There was a shot of Rainbow as a filly on top of an older stallion that looks like her(could be a brother or father), but not in the "current" time. Fluttershy's parents are also absent, and it is highly suggested both by the animators of the show and outright by Lauren Faust that applejack's mother and father are dead(could still happen though, this is hasbro we are talkin about).

Seriously though, Rarity needs more screen time.

I would love to see the Flim Flam brothers return, preferably with another kick ass musical number. Perhaps an episode or two centered around some background ponies instead of the usual Mane Six or CMC.

I would say a Derpy Hooves episode, but I don't think that will ever come to pass.

Lets see-

An episode where we get to see Fluttershy parent or at least a glimpse/ flashback like they did with Rainbow Dash (I would like to know what her mother look like).

Maybe an episode on Appljack parent as it somewhat comfirn they are dead like a flashback episode however I have no idea how the team will pull if off as I can assume that episode will depress the hell out of the kids!

Rarity dream coming closer to reality. Back in episode one she dream she would like to make a dress for Princess Celestia althought Faust mention her goal is to run another shop in Canterlot. I mean they did made Rainbow Dash dream come closer in the Wonderbolt Academy episode so Rarity should get the same treatment.

Seaponies! Granted they did introduce them in that book but I would like to see them in animated form!

Something from Griffon land. I remember there was that official map from Equestria and outside of the map was a Griffion territory. It would be cool if they bring more detail on that.

Derpy Hoove return. Is it so hard to simply treat her like they did back in Season 2. Her role as simply a background "where Wally?" cameo (well not all the time like that Nightmare Night episdoe) was perfect and screwed those haters like Yamino!!

.. Hmm, well ... I would love to see the return of Chrysalis.

She's an all time beloved character believe it or not. Truth be told when I first saw her, I felt she was 'forced' into the show like she was some sort of OC character. But then she displayed exactly why I loved the last 2 episodes of Season 2- she's just the best villain you could imagine. Since in Season 3 Discord came back, I don't see why they can't bring back Chrysalis too.

You should definitely read the comic then. Not only is it an awesome comic but the first four issues have Chrysalis as the main villain.

Somewhat serious answer: Maybe an episode about the background ponies. That would be kickass.

And, since Twilight's wings were kind of a taboo from what I heard from the internet, I hope she can keep them. Just cause I like her that way although I did hear from a somewhat reliable source that they're not permanent. Wait and see.

Iunno I don't really have that many desires for the new season.
If anything I think I want more Fluttershy episodes and more Luna centric episodes. But more friendship and ponies will please me regardless.

Also anyone else think princess Celestia was acting a bit strange in the 3rd season.

I guess it's a little early to tell. We already know that Twilight probably will be replaced with that "Starlight Shimmer" thing, which doesn't bode well.
As for specific episodes, I'd love to see more episodes dealing with the backstory of the characters. Or an episode consisting of several short stories about the background characters in Ponyville.
But most of all I'd like to have season 4 be one long episode with cliffhangers at each episode end.

I'm sure the writers will do the best they can with the cards they've been dealt.

You say that like characters stagnating and doing the same shit over and over and over because the writers don't have anything else to do with them is a good thing. This isn't one of those big character conflicts you only resolve in the finale (the dog from Animaniacs finally getting rewarded for saving the baby in Wakko's Wish, David Brent finally standing up to Chris in the Office Christmas special, etc), it's a conflict that has only so much life in it.

Dragging it out too far leads to stagnation. Stagnation leads to flanderisation. Flanderisation leads to suffering.

More Princess Luna!! I would want an entire episode devoted to Princess Luna and Princess Celestia. I want to see more of their interactions, sisterhood is the best!

1. she is a bad ruler, a bad teacher, a bad sibling and generally useless, seriously, when have you seen her actually do something useful? but she is "the most powerful" blah di blah so i suggest we make her evil, use her character to create chaos and terror, maybe a season finale. you get a betrayal story, a great villain and best of all nobody have to put up with her idiotic ruling methods.

2. he was popular because he was like the joker of mlp. and you can't make the joker a good guy, then the dark knight would have stunk.

3. she want to help and is a compelling character. plus. celestia have had the throne for herself for long enoguh. let your sister play with it too

4. i like the "two earth ponies, two pegasueses, two unicorn" thing earlier season was playing on. now it's "two earth ponies, two pegasueses, one unicorn and one interracial royalty" why fix what isn't broken.

5. i don't care what he says or what he has to do with the story, just make it happen. you have already changed his name to doctor whooves so why not take it one step further. yes it's a fanboy request but screw you, doctor who is awesome.

I want to see, in the background, "the Doctor" walk into a blue box, the camera to pan away then pan back (maybe following another character) and the box is gone. That's all. That is literally the ONLY thing I want to see. I don't care about anything else.
