I'm actually pretty disappointed with the new content so far. Granted, it was free, so I'm not angry or anything.
I hate the new sniper rifle and assault rifle. The new SMG is alright, but I think I'll stick with my Carnifex.
The only new class I haven't unlocked yet is the Asari Justicar. Of the ones I have unlocked, the only ones I really see myself using are the Geth. Geth Infiltrator can be ridiculously powerful as a shotgun build, and Geth Engineer is ridiculously powerful for Gold difficulty Geth/Firebase White farming.

A lot of people (including friends I play with) reported problems with the commendation packs not appearing. For a while they sent out packs to people who complained, but after a while they realized that it was impossible to tell who actually did the event and who just wants free items, so they stopped handing stuff out.DustyDrB said:

No new characters for me yet......despite having bought 20 Premium Specter Packs since the DLC was released.
But I have managed to get my Geth Plasma SMG up to lvl 3 already, gotta say I love that gun. Finally a fully automatic weapon that actually hurts the enemy rather than leaving them soggy and mildly annoyed after you empty an entire clip into them.

I wish I could unlock a new character. All I've been able to get recently are copies of ones that I already have. I don't want a secondary armor color. Out of the new classes, I'm most interested in the Asari Justicar.
I got myself a Batarian Sentinel last night.
It's... not bad I guess. Blade armor is a bit underwhelming, I never notice the alleged damage reversal it deals. shockwave still breaks and therefore I never use it, but that submission net is very interesting.
It seems to affect everything you shoot it at, even armored units are slowed by it and receive damage by it. It's fun getting phantoms in the net, and bashing their heads in with the Batarian super punch. It can create and set off tech bursts too. I think you can even shoot it at the floor and create a "trap" that will set off and ensnare anyone that steps on it. But it does take forever to use, and the cooldown is a bit lengthy.
Batarian melee attacks are pretty brutal. I'm looking forward to getting more practice in tonight.
Also, I'm not sure if it's been said. But Operation Resurgence this weekend will grant an absolute chance to unlock one of the new classes.

I've only got the Batarian sentinel so far, but it's a lot more fun than I was expecting. The net is awesome. Webbing up a phantom and then launching her across the map with a harpoon is very satisfying.
The only character I've unlocked is the Batarian Solider. And I love him. The Blade Armor with the extra melee rocks. I mean I've taken down Brutes with pure melee. And Atlas. And Banshees and Phantoms. And it seems like the Banshees one hits don't work with it on. The Blade attack is kinda meh but its staggering is pretty good.

A new update! I've just discovered that it's not WHO you're kicking ass with, it's WHAT you're kicking ass with.
I picked up the Striker Assault Rifle tonight, and in just one sitting it's become my new favorite gun. A fully-automatic, rapid-firing grenade launcher. After weeks of working to pull off headshots with my Carnifex, It's so refreshing to just hold down the trigger and watch things die by the truckload. Taking on Ravagers with this weapon is a joy to behold.
Oh, and I also picked up the Black Widow today too. Today was my lucky day with the Premium Spectre Packs, I guess.

Finally got myself a Geth Inf last night and am quite.. happyish about it. Given the previously existing characters, I was sort of just expecting basically a palette swap of the other races with a different power set. That, however, is not the case at all. With a totally different health shield balance, a unique heavy melee attack that eats your (aignificantly boosted) shield power and a totally unique self buff mode, they literally can`t be played like the other races. It`s something I quite like but at the same time am going to have to learn to play all over again (which isn`t a bad thing by any means).
What I`m not a huge fan of for the update are the new weapons. Honestly, I`m rather sick of seeing everyone and their dog using the Geth SMG. It`s not that I have any issue with the weapons in theory, but they are obviously much more powerful than the previously existing set. There seriously needs to be some sort of balance pass done on these things so that they don`t continue as the default weapon for every single class and every single situation.
I also can`t really get into Condor at all. Hydra is a tough nut to crack and has to be played differently than the existing maps, especially if you get the `stand around for 4 minutes` objective as the map is so wide open, but the more I play it the more I like it. Condor, however, is just annoying. It`s too hard to see anything, it`s awkward to move around in, the set up just makes the already tough Reapers even worse, etc. Not a fan.

I've only gotten one Spectre pack after downloading the DLC, and while it didn't give me a DLC character, it at least gave me a Quarian Engineer, someone I didn't have before. That said, I really want to get Any of them other than the Batarians. Not really interested in them too much.

Geth Infiltrator has replaced my Human Infiltrator as main sniper, teh hunter mode is wicked fun and letting you see hidden enemies is a huge boon.
The Asari Justicar is a monter when paired with other biotics, she has effectly replaced my Drell Adept as the partner for other biotics, the Protective bubble is great for pushing out enemies in a zone and for helping downed team mates get back up faster.
Krogan Vanguard, Super tank Extraordinaire, so much fun, being able to bash a Prime over and over without fear of the hunters, pyros and other such is great, it least my team mates pick off every mob thats surrounding me.
Batarian Sentry..... its ok I guess, I still go for the Turian.
Batarian Soldier, awesome just plain awesome, the damage bonus and extra ammo packs ar great, the armor boost and the spike attack make the character better than the regular soldier classes, although I still with it had the mobility of a human, but then I guess it would be OP.
the only one im missing now is the Geth Engineer, but from what ive seen its a great support class, the healing turret basically makes it a credit to the team, and having overload to spam is insane, I wish the Quarian had overload, still its kinda hard to top the Salarian Engi, the Decoy is pretty much the best distraction skill in all of MP.
