So what ME3 DLC character are you kicking ass with?

I still haven't played any of this. I should really use the two days of free Gold that came with ME3, and try and get a Geth Infiltrator. It's really the only class I'd want to play.

So my question is, are there any prerequisites to purchasing these Spectre packs for new characters? Do I have to actually purchase any DLC before they're available, or can I just begin the MP as a fresh lv1 noob and just spend currency like the normal packs?

The new characters are just mixed randomly into the packs with the old characters. I`m assuming you have to download the Resurgence DLC but it`s free and stuff anyway. It takes about 4 clears on bronze level to get enough credits to buy the 60000 credit box at about 20 minutes per clear (and the 60000 box pretty much guarantees you a powerful weapon or one of the characters). Bronze clears are not difficult at all if you`re wondering. I stll play on Bronze most of the time and it`s pretty rare to not clear, even if you have a couple of inexperienced players on the team.

Yes, I played the free demo for a few days. Only got to about lv6 or so on a soldier. Might look into it in about 20 minutes.

... and that goddamn From Ashes DLC is taunting me with its availability. I wouldn't even have to spend any money, I have the points spare. Curses.

So remember how all I wanted was a Geth Infiltrator? HAHA NOPE. Asari Justicar, Drell Adept, Krogan Soldier, some sort of wank harpoon launcher, some gear-up rifle with the worst aim ever, and some pistol/shotgun cross that has the SECOND-worst aim ever.

but my Soldier is almost lv20 now. I think that's a good thing and I can do something else after? Yay?

Batarian Ballistic Blades, Heavy Melee, and Kishock Harpoon gun on full charge!! LOVING IT! I blew a friggin Cerberus Engineers head off and made a mess of him all over the wall, and I DEEPLY AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT!!!!!!!!

other than that, Geth Infiltrator (though they apparently do NOT infiltrate...not intentionally anyways...)

The only new stuff that I've been able to unlock is the Geth Infiltrator and the Black Widow (I've been busy with exams and half the time when I try to go into a gold que there's one or two players that don't know what they're doing and the end up wiping us before round 10). With the Geth Infiltrator, he's good, but I'm not sure if he's better than the Salarian or Human (for the record, I dislike the Quarian Infiltrator the most of the 3). Hunter mode plus a good sniper rifle gives you a great damage output, but at the same time the decrease in shield strength leaves you vulnerable to flanking and splash damage. If you have to escape, turn hunter mode OFF before clocking, or there's a good chance you'll get downed in the crossfire. He's good, but I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with him in Gold rotate between him, human with Cryo, and Salarian with Energy Drain.

My Geth Engineer is a headshot machine. And tonight, as if in a special gift just for me, my Premium Spectre pack contained the Widow II and the Black Widow I.

Once I get a Geth Infiltrator I will dominate Gold matches...tremble before my (eventual) power!

At the moment I have been trying out Geth Engineer but he's more support class.

I have a Batarian Solder and he's pretty awesome (spec'd out for melee...he does more damage than the Krogan melee). Falcon Punching everything (including Brutes and Atlus) is really fun. Batarian Solder is for close-range combat.

Although...I prefer long-range combat so that's why I want a Geth Infiltrator!

I have all of the characters. I'm currently kicking ass with the Batarian soldier.

I was of the "Fuck Batarians" mindset, too . . . Then I tried this monster out. Hot. Damn.

The Krogan Vanguard is pretty neat, too. I love the Justicar. I can't get enough of that Biotic Sphere. I've wanted to use that since the suicide mission of Mass Effect 2. Does not disappoint.

Has anyone else had problems getting their commendation and victory packs from the even where we were supposed to promote two characters? I didn't get either pack. I didn't have this issue with the other event packs. Tracking is on, as always.

They had to suspend distribution of the reward packs because people were using some kind of exploit to get multiple Victory packs. They're supposed to start redistributing them once they fix it. I unfortunately DID get a Victory pack, but it was full of equipment. I'm hoping I'll be rewarded properly once they start giving them out again.

I unlocked the Asari Justicar almost immediately and have had a pretty good time using her. Also picked up the Krogan Vanguard, though I've only played him a few times as I'm not terribly fond of Vanguards (though he is by far my favorite).

As far as the weapons are concerned, I've gotten the Kishock and the Geth SMG twice each, and the Striker once. Love the Geth SMG, the Striker is cool but I would rather use the Saber, and the Kishock can go die in a fire.

Geth infiltrator with a high lvl widow and hunter mode,
Gotta say hunter mode works out great if you use it correctly since you lose 50% shields so being a infiltrator and staying at one spot to snipe usually balances out the downside of hunter mode

Asari justicar mainly, bit of batarian soldier who is awesome with bladed armor/heavy weapons and nades the wrist blades don't match being a space marine with an extra set of eyes.

Would love to play krogan van and a geth infiltrator sounds like everything an infiltrator would want in one cool robot package.
