I'm not going out of step with the rest of this thread. I want Firefly back as well.
Other than that, I'm hard pressed to think of many. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law was already mentioned.
I'm fairly lucky though, as two of the ones that were dead for different amounts of time have come back or are coming back. I speak, of course, of Futurama and Eastbound & Down.
I would add Flight of the Conchords to that list, but from what I heard, they were running out of material into the second season, and decided to call it quits. If they ever had a creative "second wind" and came back though, I'd love it.

Since Serenity kinda put an "official" end to Firefly as a series, I'd like to see a spin-off. Probably something detailing the War in the style of the BSG reboot.
Much as I love Firefly, I'd be terrified that they'd ruin it if they ever brought it back. In a way, I like the series as it stands now - a tiny snapshot into the lives of the characters.

Seriously, I loved season 1, liked season 2 (though it appears I am in a minority on that), thought season 3 was a big pile of garbage and thought season 4 was okayish (even if it could have been a lot better). What pissed me off was that I endured season 3 and watched season 4 in the hope I'd get some kind of resolution but they decide to axe the final season! What the fuck?
So they'll axe this JUST before they have any chance of resolving it but other shows like Smallville (which even Heroes' worst wasn't as bad as some of this shit) lives for yet another season apparently? That's just bullshit man...
