So when will pick up the PS3 ?

I've pre-ordered one ready for the launch on Tuesday. The only reason I can afford one is 'cause I've traded my Wii in for £100 store credit, then other games and such have added to it. £250 is still a little steep, but it looks pretty nifty, and the extra HD space is always a bonus.

According to Nuts, it's gonna be £200. mind you, they're not that clever on technology, they're more interested in Chanelle Hayes...which is a good thing really...

I figure I'll pick one up this fall if I can scrounge up the funds. I'm selling some old riding gear and spare tack, which should provide the necessary money without me having to dip into my normal paycheck (which, you know, kind of pays the bills). It'll be nice to play MGS4, Infamous, Arkham Asylum as the Joker... Yeah, looking forward to it. Plus, there seem to be some nice exclusives on the way. I'm just pissed about the whole backwards compatibility, especially considering my PS2 bit the dust not too long ago. I don't want to buy both a PS3 and a PS2, so...yeah.

That's what I thought until my 360 died a year after purchase. Screw the 360, I want a PS3 for the longer life span.

I was going to pick up the PS3 but I changed my mind when Xbox 360 announced a price drop. It is just cheaper right now for me to buy a 360 now and since I have all that stuff on my hard drive it would be a shame to waste it. My old one RRoD'd and it has been in the shop since July.
