So when will pick up the PS3 ?

I've pre-ordered one ready for the launch on Tuesday. The only reason I can afford one is 'cause I've traded my Wii in for £100 store credit, then other games and such have added to it. £250 is still a little steep, but it looks pretty nifty, and the extra HD space is always a bonus.

According to Nuts, it's gonna be £200. mind you, they're not that clever on technology, they're more interested in Chanelle Hayes...which is a good thing really...

Blech. Better people out there to oogle at, haha. But yeah, the store I work at have had the prices confirmed and it's definitely £250... So much for Sony's "yeah, we'll get it to the UK at a much, much cheaper price." £50 less. WOW. Well done, Sony.

After I bought an HDTV to replace my monitor and decided I wanted a Blu-ray player, I realized a backward compatible PS3 was my most expensive option, but also my most functional option. I'm being particular about the backward compatibility because I want to look into the PS2 games I missed out on, but not enough to buy a PS3 and a PS2; I don't want two separate devices sitting on my desk when one can do it all. So, I hope to find myself a used PS3 sometime in the next year.

I went ahead and purchased a PS3 slim. Mainly because there are now some games on it I want and it's cheaper. Plus Demon's Souls is coming out, which is my kind of game. I don't see why so many people complain about it not having BC. The PS3's haven't had BC since the ones that came out at launch and cost $500-$600 as far as I know. Also, who the hell doesn't own a PS2? It was pretty much THE console to own last generation. Did a ton of morons just run out and sell their last gen consoles as the next gen ones came out?

A)How very dare you say that about Chanelle now she has long hair; B) They already apologised for that. Remember that it's still quite a powerful thing, so it can't be that cheap.
