So who is going to do this come Gen 6 Pokemon Games?

In the next 4 years or so we'll probably start hearing whispers about Generation 6 of Pokemon, and when we're ready to sit down with Pokemon Apple and Orange or Pokemon Shirt and Pants or whatever Gen 6 may bring, there's something we should all be aware of.

Once we hit Gen 6, it will be possible to make a full party using your favorite Pokemon from each Generation.

Do you think you might pick up a version specifically to do that, and if so, which Pokemon would you use? (obviously you don't have your Gen 6 yet, but you can pick your first five)

For me it's these guys.

I don't really like to double up on types, but I'll make an exception here. Of course we'll just have to wait and see what Gen 6 brings to the table.

Ah, this seems like a neat idea.

Welp. That's my team right there. Kinda difficult to actually think of any Gen 4 Pokemon I actually wanted, but Drifblim ain't so bad. Everyone else is a sure favorite of mine though from their respective generations.

alrighty here's my team.

i was gonna put mewtwo as my Psychic Type, but that would've left out Charizard as my Fire Type. so i just went with togekiss as a Pseudo Psychic Type. considering I managed to bulldoze most of heart gold with him on my team.

Gen1: Mewtwo
Gen2: Umbreon
Gen3: Aggron
Gen4: Empoleon
Gen5: Volcarona

I don't want to try a put together a competitive team so I'll just pick some favourites.

It's not at all balanced and I'm pretty sure they all fall in the RU/UU tier.

Absol is really the only one who is no doubt my favourite of that generation, all the others have multiple Pokemon I enjoy.

It depend really on how cool or aweful the new Pokemons apperances. I tend to use the most of the new Pokemons anyway but unless they are mostly ugly to the point I refuse to use them-

I don't particularly care for the minmaxing stuff some people seem to be obsessed with. As long as it looks cool, has acceptable stats and gels well with the others, it's fine by me.
