Basically it autosaves at the idol doors which Yorda opens, and a very few other points, but yes they can be far apartmysecondlife said:I am playing Ico. and boy I wish there was autosave on some parts. a lot of mistakes can really take a chunk of your time.
But when it's smooth sailing, the experience is very pleasant.
It's a stamina meter. It constantly depletes while you're grabbing onto a colossus, so you need to find moments where you can stand and recover. You also need to have a clear plan of how you're going to get to the weak point before you start climbing (you have more leeway earlier in the game, but this is important later).Alfador_VII said:Just atarted on SOTC earlier. I'm not sure if the original manual was better, but the one in the HD collection doesn't tell you much.
I got to the first Colossus, and can get his attention by stabbing his leg. I'm fairly sure that's all I've done so far. What does the circular thing in the lower right mean? I've been searching for info on that online to no avail.
No idea about this code. Remember, I only got the disc from gamefly, waiting for them to send me the case and inserts. When I put the disc in, there were two disc icons on the XMB, one for the game and the other had 7 or so videos of interviews and early concept videos.Fluke said:They're not 60fps, they're locked at 30fps.Cursed Frogurt said:I already own (and beat) both on PS2, so I just rented it from GameFly.
It arrived last night, I watched almost all of the supplemental material. Then I beat the first colossi and decided to Keep the game.
If you're on the fence, let me quell your fears: GET IT! SotC looks utterly gorgeous in HD, better than most PS3 games if I say so myself. I thought the framerate increase would be annoying considering I thought the stuttering framerate on PS2 helped the game be that much more cinematic during intense moments, but the game definitely is better looking at a buttery smooth, 60FPS.
Apart from that though, what supplemental material? I thought that was only via the download code that hasn't unlocked yet?
You and me both. Exclusivity can go suck it... I want my art.Nasrin said:I've considered buying a PS3 solely for this purpose.
The disk contains potassium benzoate........Cursed Frogurt said:No idea about this code. Remember, I only got the disc from gamefly, waiting for them to send me the case and inserts.
