I just fished it out my garbage bin - I can't believe I didn't notice the year.

Still, when I entered the code it said "this code is invalid or expired". Would've been smart had the put the validation date on the damn voucher so that random people (like me) don't simply toss them in the trash when they realize they don't work, or did I miss that too?

Anyway, I'm glad I hardly ever clean out my trash can. Thanks for the heads up!

No, I had to google it to find out if anyone else had an invalid voucher. After a little digging, it turns out it's not valid until the 10th of October.

I already own (and beat) both on PS2, so I just rented it from GameFly.

It arrived last night, I watched almost all of the supplemental material. Then I beat the first colossi and decided to Keep the game.

If you're on the fence, let me quell your fears: GET IT! SotC looks utterly gorgeous in HD, better than most PS3 games if I say so myself. I thought the framerate increase would be annoying considering I thought the stuttering framerate on PS2 helped the game be that much more cinematic during intense moments, but the game definitely is better looking at a buttery smooth, 60FPS.

I don't know if I'll play through ICO or not. I had played it on PS2 after SotC, and I think the former is overrated. Gameplay wise, I didn't enjoy it very much.

As far as I know, it's retail only.

I doubt it will sell out anywhere though, it's not a new Call of Duty game, so I doubt your local is going to run out.

I preordered it through Amazon and got it day one. However, I have yet to play it. There's just too many games on my plate right now that it had to wait a little. Also, I want to get a TV for my bedroom which I plan on plopping my PS3 in, so I'm undecided if I'll wait for that.

That's about right, the first few go down pretty easily. The difficulty ramps way up though. First play-through, you'll probably spend an hour or more just on the last colossus.
