I guess i stay for the vids and occasional post/conversation.

In all seriousness I came because I wanted to... comment on stuff, seriously isn't that what everyone does? sure there are some good comments and some bad comments and some people get wicked high post counts by talking in group chat but it all boils down to wanting to comment on stuff, and I wanted a piece of it.

It's the same reason people twitter

I never really got that xD I've only ever been a member of ONE other forum, I can't see myself ever making use of twitter and only one video of me is up on youtube talking to the camera.

I was drawn here by Zero Punctuation and I joinecd because I saw this as a place where I could enjoy video game related web series' and talk about video games without the vitrioloc fanboy rage that consumes much of the net. I really love it here, and hopefully I can make it through my seven days of probation so that I can stay here.

At first I watched nearly all Episodes of ZP.
Soon the threads began to catch my attention.
I started to lurk the forums, and I found them a very nice place with humorous people and interesting topics. I wanted to get to know the users a bit and participate at the discussions.
But so far that was not succesful, noone seems to notice my posts

EDIT: One of my main reason to join was also the thought of improving my English through the forums and communication

What to you hope to gain from it?

Entertainment mostly. Plus it helps me keep up-to-date on gaming issues for when I can afford to become a gamer again. However I am loving the fact that I am meeting many more awesome new people here than on every other site I used for that same purpose like Facebook and Newgrounds. I gotta say it again: you guys rock!

The moderators here are very fair. The people they put on probation, suspend, and ban all deserve it.

As long as people follow the rules they don't have to worry about being suspended.

I mostly come here because I watch all the videos anyway, so I thought 'why not register and maybe tyrannize the forum a little bit?'. Another good reason was that I like to improve my english, since I plan to move there in some time, and just generally want to get more fluent with colloquial english.
