It's true. We only exist when you're online. And we like existing so please stay online. I don't like the darkness I go to when you log off... it's cold... and frightening...
Don't worry, I haven't actually been offline for about a week, I don't turn my Laptop off.
So *you're* the one I thank for my continued existence.

Thank you! Thank you very much!

I would hug you if I were more than just lines of code.

It's also quite humbling isn't it? Seeing REAL gamers putting things in perspective :p
I´m a bit unsure about the definition of "real gamer", but you´re right in that it does put things in perspective, or at least into a proper context, when you get to know the point of view of other gamers.
I mean those who take the whole thing WAAAAY more seriously than myself :p far more REAL gamers than myself!
Take for example: The pokèmon quiz recently. First one, grand. Second one started throwing all these stats questions, that one essentially would need a guide or some hacking device to see the lines of code or smtn... ... ... And i thought i was obsessed with that game -.-

Sometimes the people on this site can say some pretty funny/insightful/interesting things. I keep coming back to this site for those posts.

Someday your honor shall be won back, or should you expire before that, Valhalla would surely open itself to you for you keep on fightin ;D
Aye, I'll paint myself blue and strip naked, and run at the enemy, so they may know my Celtic fierceness.

Basically, imagine that on a forum, and you've got my final moments before I get banned.
YES BROTER, a good look for you methinks.
SHOW THEM THE MIGHTY HAIRS ON A CELTIC'S ARSE... It worked for braveheart.

I originally joined because I thought the place was a fun, yet smart community which is rare in most Forums. I was right and have had plenty of intellectual debates, back-and-forths on ideas, battles against trolls, and some damned good fun.
Same for me, except that I lurked the forums for a a few months before making an account

I know people have probably said this before, but I joined because I sold my soul to Russ Pitts[footnote]but maybe that counts as "Shady Dealings"[/footnote]...

And the great reviews/videos/comics/characters that hang around in the forums. but what pushed me over the edge after lurking for like 2 years was Rebecca Mayes for some reason... :|

Not sure exactly; it's a number of things. The badges were fun to acquire but the people on here are really nice and I like talking to them.

I don't know. All I remember is some old woman offering me a cookie and when I woke up, I was a member on here.

I'm really only here because I can't post on the WoW Off-topic forums (account expired :S).
Really?
I can't post in the WoW forums due to a forum ban.
I get alot of them.

Anywho, I joined because I felt like it to be honest, I've always loved forums.

And what I didn't expect to get out of it was..
To become a reviewer
To meet Hubilub (A regrettable experience)
To meet Namless.

I think I originally joined because someone was being an idiot in the forums, and I always enjoy discussing(see:eek:ne-sided debate) things with idiots. Unfortunately, I lost that thread, so now I just poke around and read whatever is up in my spare time.

I know the feeling; There´s always someone who´s more hardcore than you.
To be honest, I didn´t even take the quiz, because I know I would have sucked so hard, I might have been in danger of collapsing onto myself, and that´s no good.
