I'm going to go with either Darkrai or Haunter, it's pretty up in the air right now.
Just behind them would be Gardevoir and Raichu but I'm assuming final evolutions are pushing it for the assumption that I just happened to get them fully evolved at the beginning of the adventure.
Another runner up idea would be a small team of super cool Unown, most definitely spelling something equally or more bad ass then they were themselves.

Going back to the definitive pick I think I definitely lean to Darkrai.

To be honest, Espeon. However, I'd find a way of affording a second Pokeball just so I could have Umbreon as well, and to be fair I'd never keep them in their Pokeballs, they'd be like Pikachu is to Red and Ash in Yellow and the anime respectively. Espeon and Umbreon are just so awesome, my favourite Pokemon of all .

As for me, I'd choose either Tropius (because it's a freaking FLYING DINOSAUR!), or Pachirisu because of its diabetes-inducing cuteness (and because squirrels are cool).

If I can choose a legendary, I'd choose Mew. Mew is awesome, super-cute, can Transform (and is infinitely better than Ditto), and not only Fly but Teleport. Kick. Ass.

that name actually hasn't yet been made official, check out bulbapedia it only has official information and it still hasn't got an English name for bachuru, I hope he keeps his Japanese name.

If it were a non-legendary, I'd pick Gallade. Gotta love a blade wielding Pokémon whose specialty is Critical Hit moves. (Plus...according to a fanfic a colleage of nmine wrote, he's the Pokémon version of me.)

However, if we're talking Legendaries, then there is only one I'd pick...and quite frankly I'm surprised no one else said it...
