I apparently am descended from a Norman duke who came to England in 1066 with William the Conquer, that would be interesting.

My Grandfather was a German paratrooper who fought in Russia during the second world war. Discovering how he survived that would be amazing, and terrifying at the same time.

Well, I had several men in my family serve in WWII, WWI, the American Civil War, I'm related to the pirate queen Grace O'Malley, and I'm apparently related to some German noble or another from way back when.

I think it's safe to say that I'd be fighting someone, somewhere along the lines. XD

My ancestry is German and English, so I'd guess I'd be fighting the Roman Army as a Germanic Barbarian. Or perhaps dishing it out with France as an English soldier during the hundred years war. Maybe even, and pls don't hate me for saying this, fighting against the Americans in the War of 1812 (although I might be on the Canadian end by that point).

Really, when it comes down to it, once you have an idea of your ancestry, you can only chase it back so far. Who knows what your ancestors werre past that? Maybe your ancestors were knights, or maybe an equivalent of Roman Special Forces, maybe they dug tunnels for the Underground Railroad or were revolutionaries who either had their ideas stolen or never lived long enough to spread their ideas.

But to me, fighting the Romans with guerilla tactics and getting up-close and personal (and winning) would be kind of fun. An interesting experience, at least.

Living a lavish life, trained in the deadliest fighting styles, fighting huge battles and wars, magnificent gardens and traveling. Yep. Life of a Mughal Prince is sweet. That is if you go to the time of Babur.

yes it would!

I myself would probably be a maya. I have no clue what profession. Not sure they had scholars, or warriors.

I'd probably be hunting for Jack Sparrow...or I'd be a farmer alternatively.

There's no way to determine it, but I'd have either a Roman ancestor (awesome) or Slavic pagans from before they crossed the Carpathian mountains (also rather hardcore).

Yeah, neither does being stuck in British-ruled India (or Trinidad for that matter).
