Tyson was about to warn Rowan of doing something stupid like transforming into himself when he was going to talk to Erica but walked into the lounge and saw the panic. Tyson heard someone say Victor and saw Levi's state on the ground. "What's going on here? I knocked that Victor guy out and Taryn got him back under control." Tyson asked than stated as the panic ensued before him. What's wrong with these people. Do they invite chaos over for a few days once a year like an unwanted relative?

Tommy joined the rest, " It's never that simple, Victor's a separate person residing inside of Levi's mind, knocking him out wouldn't stop him for long, damn we really should have seen this coming." He cursed under his breath.

"Leland, if we go in there who's going to be in control? Levi or Victor?" Tommy understood enough about mindscapes that the difference would be tremendous. If Levi was still in control then the mindscape would be relatively safe, if Victor had managed to gain total control they would be in grave peril. Tommy didn't dare tell the others the stakes of failing in that scenario.

"By the way things look on the surface, it looks like his mind could probably be in a state of constant flux...like switching back and forth between the two. But It is Levi's mind. I'm sure he'll have more of a domain over his own mindscape. At least, I hope it's that way..." Jason replied to Tommy with an intrigued frown, obviously putting the previous query to thought.

"Leland. I'm not completely okay with this idea...so many things can probably go wrong, and I'd rather we find another solution...but if it's the only way to save Levi, then I'm in." He told him, voice filled with sudden determination.

"As of right now Levi is in control, but it's subject to change," Leland responded to Tommy as he watched Levi get placed onto one of the infirmary beds; the Doctor opening up his office door and sighing when he realized that he probably needed to go and get some chairs for everyone.

As the Doctor started to bring in chairs for everyone, Leland added, "Look, unless we can think of another way soon we'll have to go with my idea. Believe me if we can think of another way I'm all for it, but I'm not sure how much time we have to think of something."

"I'm just going to say that I have no idea what to do. I truthfully don't understand any of this. The one important thing though is getting Victor out now, and I'm fine doing that any way we can," Garrus stated as he took a seat on a chair that the Doctor had delivered.

Taryn was silent while her team-members discussed the options. Standing next to Levi's bed she gripped the bed's side-rail with both hands. Her white-knuckled grip eased somewhat once it sounded like there was a way they could help Levi. Taryn remained standing next to Levi's bed until the Doctor came in with chairs. She looked somewhat suspiciously at the Doctor before taking her chair.

Walking a short distance away from the infirmary bed, Taryn place her chair against the wall. Then she walked back to the bed and bent down so that she was close to Levi's ear. She spoke slowly in a hushed tone for a few seconds. When she was finished Taryn straightened her stance, using the railing for balance. She transferred her hand to Levi's sleeve and brushed her fingers down the cloth until she reached his hand. A look of sadness crossed her face as Taryn wrapped her fingers around Levi's and squeezed gently. Levi still appeared in to be in pain...even while unconscious. Taryn blinked rapidly a few times before taking a slow breath.

'Okay.' Taryn stepped back and walked back to her chair to sit down. Looking calmly up at Leland she asked a simple question.

"How soon can we do this?"

"Well then let me say good luck to you all now, hope Levi gets better soon." Lillian said before walking out of the room, she wasn't about to go delving into the mind for who knew how long after all that had happened to her baby already. As far as she was concerned, she was out on this one.

"Are you sure this is safe? I mean this is a man's mind here, we could cause irreparable damage to his mind I would think. If there is not other option then I guess we don't have a choice, but still." Richard asked.

"It is safe, the only thing we'd have to worry about is Victor in Levi's mind. He's the thing that will make this dangerous. Actually getting you guys in there will be easy, but dealing with Victor is a whole 'nother issue," Leland replied to Richard, taking a seat in one of the chairs.

"As for how soon we can do this...well it'd probably take around five minutes. I'd need everyone sitting or lying down, and I'd have to get you guys to be asleep too...the Doctor might be able to help us with that part. It'd probably feel a little weird initially when your first inside the mind, probably some chills down the spine and tingly sensations everywhere, but that would subside," he explained.

Tyson sighed. "What's with you people and removing my mind from my body? Its like you're trying to drive me insane. But at least I should get some from of sleep from this." Tyson stated and lied down with his back against the wall. "I'll make sure that brisket sucking, tea guzzling, queen worshiping, power hungry, British wanker doesn't take control of him. However if that fossil over there touches me while I'm asleep I'll rearrange his limbs so he looks like a Picasso." Tyson claimed as he leaned his backwards and started to shut his mind off in order to get to sleep.

Brian started to back away. The events of the last mission were still fresh in his mind, and he wasn't sure taking a plunge into someone else's would be a smart move. Besides, would he even be needed in there? He healed physical people, and if what he understood was correct, this would be a mental state sort of deal. So he would be kind of useless in a mind world. No body equals no healing, and no healing means Brian is as helpful as a charity cheerleader car wash to a eunuch.

"Hey, you know, I think I'll stay here with Lillian, eh? I mean, too many bodies in there, you know, might get cluttered, right? You guys don't need that, yeah. I'll stay, keep an eye on things aboot the place, eh?" He got out as best as he could. He started towards to the door but he was walking right towards Tyson. The burly man opened an eye, stuck out his arm and knocked Brian out cold. It would take a good half hour for him to wake up from this one. He was gone. Tyson then went back to concentrating on getting himself to sleep.

"I'm not convinced. There are other ways that we could use to keep Levi and Victor under control," Rowan stated. "The Tal Rasha method I mentioned earlier would involve simply putting Levi in one of the contained rooms in the basement, like the one Garrus mentioned when you found that guy Nuke. If he gets out of hand, we find a way to... sedate him, I guess, to keep him in check until Levi becomes strong enough to restrain Victor." Not liking the idea of going into Levi's head, he folded his arms across his chest and remained standing.

Katie thought it over for a few seconds. She had no idea what would take place if the Society entered Levi's mind, and she didn't like it. But it seemed to her that there was no other option. Rowan's theory sounded like it could work... but it might be too risky in regards to both the Society as a whole and Levi's own health.

She sat down on the infirmary floor, her back to the wall so she wouldn't hurt herself if she fell over while asleep. She figured it would be better if Leland caused her to fall asleep with a spell, rather than sedation by the doc or being knocked out by force, and said as much to the magician.

" I don't think that's an option we can afford to try Rowan, if we wait we risk Levi taking complete control, and at that point I don't think there'll be enough sedatives to put him down.". Tommy replied to Rowan, " Besides this time's different than normal, before Victor only came out during times of stress, like during a serious fight. The fact that he's trying to break out now is a red flag."

Tyson spotted Brian trying to leave and knocked him out before he could cower away. "Being there alone to help is more than enough. Not knowing whether your power is no excuse and turning your back on your team is a sin worthy of death." Tyson said laying Brian's body down on the ground before turning to Rowan.

"The physician should look upon the patient as a besieged city and try to rescue him with every means that art and science place at his command - Alexander of Tralles. Right now we are the physicians and Levi is a besieged city. If we lock him up in a cell and tell him to save himself is worse than putting a gun to his and pulling trigger. To loose your body and watch as it plagues torment on your friends is something I could never imagine. What it feels like every time its happened to him must go beyond anything anyone of us could comprehend. I only know being dead would be better." Tyson said before taking breath.

"I won't leave a teammate in a fight on their own. It doesn't matter if its in a jungle, a desert, on a mountain, or in their own mind. As long as there's a way for me to help I'll do it and right now that way is go into his mind and remove the very poison that sickens him. One teammates pain is the pain of everyone else on the team. To turn your back on them is to turn your back on yourself and everyone around you. And anyone who's officially part of this will be in there to help. Even if I have to knock you for Leland to bring you in." Tyson finished his speech not willing to let anyone turn their back on this.

"I see your point, and I would never let a teammate fall if there were a way to prevent it," Rowan countered. "There is always a way for those clever enough to find it. But I am still not convinced about Leland's plan. If anyone can give me some rock-solid evidence that going into Levi's mind is the best option - or the only option - then I will concede and go with it. Until then, there are still things I have doubts about. Such as the process of entering his mind, and whether or not we might accidentally give Levi brain damage while we're in there. Without enough information, it's difficult to grasp the situation at hand. Surely you must realise this yourself."

'Contained room?...sedation?' Taryn scowled as renewed anger filled her. Adrenaline swiftly followed and her left shoulder twitched. Simultaneously her left hand lit up with barely controlled electricity. Harsh crackling noises filled the air near the upset woman as white arcs traveled down from the inside of Taryn's sleeve to wrap around her hand. Taryn turned to glare at Rowan with the electricity still live. She thought about shooting the gathered power toward the recruit.

Fortunately there was an interruption, that of Tyson knocking out Brian. Taryn turned to look at the other recruits and the action gave her an extra moment to think. Long enough for her to get control of her anger. 'It was just a suggestion.' she reminded herself. 'A very bad suggestion.' Taryn sighed and brushed her hand against her pant leg. The sparks scattered and dimmed before disappearing completely. She looked over at Tyson and caught the end of his rather surprising little speech. 'Well that's...interesting.' she thought.

Watching the events unfold from a lounge chair, McPhearson chuckled to himself at the idea of him helping to cure someones mind. He slowly drained his drink, and stood to address the group. "Fine. I'll be the one to say it. Why not kill him? That'll solve our problem a lot faster." He brought his armor forth and a dagger to his side. "He houses a demon. He is the vessel of a dark being. Let's just kill him and purge some darkness from this world." He slowly started to make his way over to Levi, no longer seeming to notice anyone else in the room.

"Tommy is right Rowan, and so is Tyson who had a very nice speech there. Along with that there is always the possibility that Levi doesn't win the battle and Victor takes control, in which then I doubt a contained room over even knockout spells can help us out then," Leland replied to Rowan, about to continue before hearing what Steven was saying and watching him move a bit closer to Levi.

"Oh no you don't there drunken flashlight," Leland said as he put his hand against the back of Steven's head, catching him and putting him on a chair once he knocked him out. "Well that's another ready for going in, thankfully he won't be drunk or anything for it. Anyways back to you Rowan. I know you don't understand this, and I get that that is why you're worried. But what we're doing can't really be explained through science, it truly can't. And since none of the other ideas given were that good it's going to be the one we have to go with," he explained, taking his own seat and telling the Doctor to head into his office.

"Don't want you knocked out too. Now this is going to be an easy thing: everyone is unconscious, I transfer everyone to Levi's mindscape, and we deal with Victor from there. Levi should still be in the most control if we hurry it up so it should be a lot safer than if we continue waiting. And we won't be causing Levi any brain damage and such; you'd be surprised at what can fit inside of a person's mindscape. The only thing that could hurt Levi is Victor, and that's what we need to stop," he added, telling everyone to get comfortable.

Taryn stood up and was settling into a fighting stance as soon as she saw Steven advancing on her unconscious boyfriend. However, Leland beat her to the 'drunken flashlight'. 'You just saved him from being fried.' she thought firmly to the magician. 'He should thank you later.' She sat back down in her chair, the force of the sudden motion causing it to slid back on the floor with a screech. She could somewhat understand her teammate's concerns. It just didn't register with her. She would do whatever it took to save Levi. 'If they don't want to go.' she added silently to Leland, 'They don't have to. But I'm going.'

'I'll try to remind him about it later,' Leland replied to Taryn, waiting until everyone was in a comfortable chair or bed before saying, "Okay guys, this is it. Probably slightly tingly and all that but it'll be over before you know it, and then you'll be in Levi's mindscape which will probably be an interesting thing to see since everyone's is different from each other."

"Just get on with it," Garrus said, wanting to get things over with as quickly as possible before things got any worse. Leland nodded and closed his eyes, focusing on the minds that were still awake before knocking everyone still awake (including himself) unconscious.

The Doctor looked out from the window on his office door, muttering something about how he wanted to be able to do that and going to his desk to start coming up with ideas.

As the Society team entered Levi's mindscape, their vision was obscured by bright flash of white light. Nothing could be seen through the impenetrable glow. After a few seconds, the oppressive whiteness eventually dissipated and the team of heroes were able to see that the environment around them had changed. It was now that of a run-down, impoverished urban neighborhood. The sky was completely covered in grey clouds, casting a dull, gloomy light over the landscape. The air was completely still and deathly silent. Around the group, there were seemingly abandoned apartment buildings, the paint old and peeled, their fire escapes rusted and broken. In front of them was a fenced, paved path leading to a single large building, its architecture indicating that it was very old in design. Judging from the overgrown grass, cracked pavement, wild tree branches, broken windows, and exposed columns, this building was in a state of severe neglect. A large, partially rotted wooden sign stood above the tall grass to the right. In worn-out blue lettering, it read "
Code:
Saint Theodore Orphanage
". Below the faded text was an equally worn and sunbleached image of Jesus upon the cross.
