Soon enough Katie had to lie down on the ceiling again to stop the blood flowing down to her head. That combined with the shot of alcohol was making her head spin and producing the odd spark at the edges of her vision. A single shot couldn't keep her up on the ceiling for much longer, could it?
That question was answered about thirty seconds later, when she abruptly fell to the floor. Thinking quickly, she stopped herself in place using the temporary levitation power she possessed. It took a little bit more concentration than usual to keep herself afloat; this being her second time experimenting with alcohol, Katie was unused to its more mundane effects. She aimed her feet at the floor in midair before she landed lightly a metre or so from where she had started.
"Well, that was... interesting, though I'm not touching any more of that stuff," she said to no-one in particular.

Within a few minutes Rowan and Sabrina wrapped up their conversation and left the café, both of them pausing in the street before parting their separate ways. The shapeshifter, however, was not so keen on leaving without asking about the possibility of meeting a second time. "So yeah, um... Was nice meeting you again, Sabi," he said, being short on topics at the present time.
"Yeah, same to you. Um... See you around, I guess," Sabrina answered, a little hesitation in her voice. Now was the time to ask: Rowan knew that hesitancy well, and jumped on it without a second thought.
"Did you, um, wanna meet up again sometime? Maybe, uh, I dunno..." Think, you idiot! Before he fully thought about what he was saying, he finished up with, "Um, maybe a date?"
It took a full five seconds for him to realise what he had said, and as a result Rowan blushed heavily and looked away, totally embarrassed by his words. He hadn't meant to say anything like that, especially since their relationship had ended the way it had. The question, however, stopped Sabrina in her tracks. She turned and walked back to him, clearly going over the question in her mind because her lips were moving faintly. She did that occasionally when she was thinking.
"Rowan. I don't know what to say to that... but I haven't been with anyone else since we broke up," she said quietly. "It's been more than a year... almost two, now that I think of it." She stopped there, resuming her thinking. The shapeshifter chose not to fill the silence, knowing that it was her decision to make. Eventually she said, "I guess... I guess we could try it. Maybe we can rebuild what we had before."
"Al-alright, so... I'll call you?" was Rowan's response as he finally looked back to his old flame.
"Sure. Take care of yourself, Silhouette," Sabrina answered with a grin up at him. With that she turned back and made her way to her car, driving off soon after. Thrilled at the prospect of possibly getting back together with Sabi, and satisfied with completing Brian's request of setting him up, Rowan got into his own car and began the drive back to the Promenade. Just for the heck of it, and because he knew the song well, he shapeshifted into Billy Joel for the man's voice, flicked on his iPod which he had left plugged into his car's stereo system and began to sing Uptown Girl as loud as he wanted to. Which was fairly loud.
Rowan didn't care whether people could see or hear him, largely because he was happy about recent events.
