Tommy rubbed his chest where Marrissa had punched him, he was pretty sure he would have a nasty bruise there for the rest of the night.

" Oh christ their drinking that one?" Tommy said as he connected the dots on what Ales drank, " Funny story, the brewers were originally trying to make a drain cleaner, failed."

Tommy walked with the rest back to the lounge, "Alex! You look... uh..." You know what I'm not touching this. Tommy quickly averted his attention to Lelend.

"Meadow Eye's, any-chance we'll have cake before everyone is completely smashed?"

"Yes! ...maybe. I'm doing the border right now, then we'll place them on top of one another, and then Tyson is going to do the writing if I recall correctly. Thank goodness he isn't drunk yet," Leland replied, doing his best to make the swirling rainbow border around the top tier look good. "Also since you're here, I uh...don't really have a present for you. But I'm going to go with the 'whatever-you-want-you-shall-have-if-it-is-within-my-power' gift. So, bestest buddy, you can tell me what you want whenever and I shall make it so," he added as he finished the border (taking a step back to make sure it was up to standard) and started to get the tiers ready to be put together.

"Tinkerbell, don't call me or refer to me as Ty. Its either Tyson or Sound Check and you can only use Tyson inside of this part of the Promenade. And that's not up for discussion." Tyson stated as he walked into the kitchen.

After Tyson entered the kitchen he started looking at the liquor bottle labels in the box. This one changes your sex. This one makes you look older until you sober up. This one makes you look young until you do the same. This one allows you to shoot fire from your fists. This one turns your blood to tiger blood. This one makes you win.

Tyson sighed before Leland referred to him not being drunk. "Yes I'm still sober and from the looks of things I won't be getting drunk off of any of these anytime soon. Most of these liquors look like they had their effects designed by Charlie Sheen. Well, either that or he drinks them anyways. Just tell me when you set the cake up and I'll write out the message." Tyson stated.

"Well of course Charlie Sheen designs magic liquors he wasn't kidding when he said he was a warlock, man is literally a practitioner of the dark arts." Tommy told Tyson as he turned the bottles over to show Charlie Sheen's mark of approval, a picture of himself flanked by two women.

" No one know's how he started learning magic, most common theory is after a post Golden Globe rager he hijack a plane and crashed it into New Eldorado, from there the story gets weird, but eventually he gets brought into the fold of an order of Warlocks."

Soon enough Katie had to lie down on the ceiling again to stop the blood flowing down to her head. That combined with the shot of alcohol was making her head spin and producing the odd spark at the edges of her vision. A single shot couldn't keep her up on the ceiling for much longer, could it?

That question was answered about thirty seconds later, when she abruptly fell to the floor. Thinking quickly, she stopped herself in place using the temporary levitation power she possessed. It took a little bit more concentration than usual to keep herself afloat; this being her second time experimenting with alcohol, Katie was unused to its more mundane effects. She aimed her feet at the floor in midair before she landed lightly a metre or so from where she had started.

"Well, that was... interesting, though I'm not touching any more of that stuff," she said to no-one in particular.

Within a few minutes Rowan and Sabrina wrapped up their conversation and left the café, both of them pausing in the street before parting their separate ways. The shapeshifter, however, was not so keen on leaving without asking about the possibility of meeting a second time. "So yeah, um... Was nice meeting you again, Sabi," he said, being short on topics at the present time.

"Yeah, same to you. Um... See you around, I guess," Sabrina answered, a little hesitation in her voice. Now was the time to ask: Rowan knew that hesitancy well, and jumped on it without a second thought.

"Did you, um, wanna meet up again sometime? Maybe, uh, I dunno..." Think, you idiot! Before he fully thought about what he was saying, he finished up with, "Um, maybe a date?"

It took a full five seconds for him to realise what he had said, and as a result Rowan blushed heavily and looked away, totally embarrassed by his words. He hadn't meant to say anything like that, especially since their relationship had ended the way it had. The question, however, stopped Sabrina in her tracks. She turned and walked back to him, clearly going over the question in her mind because her lips were moving faintly. She did that occasionally when she was thinking.

"Rowan. I don't know what to say to that... but I haven't been with anyone else since we broke up," she said quietly. "It's been more than a year... almost two, now that I think of it." She stopped there, resuming her thinking. The shapeshifter chose not to fill the silence, knowing that it was her decision to make. Eventually she said, "I guess... I guess we could try it. Maybe we can rebuild what we had before."

"Al-alright, so... I'll call you?" was Rowan's response as he finally looked back to his old flame.

"Sure. Take care of yourself, Silhouette," Sabrina answered with a grin up at him. With that she turned back and made her way to her car, driving off soon after. Thrilled at the prospect of possibly getting back together with Sabi, and satisfied with completing Brian's request of setting him up, Rowan got into his own car and began the drive back to the Promenade. Just for the heck of it, and because he knew the song well, he shapeshifted into Billy Joel for the man's voice, flicked on his iPod which he had left plugged into his car's stereo system and began to sing Uptown Girl as loud as he wanted to. Which was fairly loud.

Rowan didn't care whether people could see or hear him, largely because he was happy about recent events.

"That Charlie Sheen, if he doesn't watch it he's heading for an early grave," Brian commented as he went for another glass of the liquor he had before. He was feeling a lot better now, like a block in his head had been lifted. "He's got severe bi-polar tendencies, he consumes rampant amounts of alcohol and drugs, he has sex with a different woman every hour, there are just so many triggers for him to pull it's really anyone's guess which one he hits."

This is amazing! I don't sound like a damn stereotype anymore! But why? What the hell was altered in me that made that happen? I...I don't understand.

"Personally, I'll bet he dies within the next year falling off a building while waving around a vial of blood he drained from a package of ground hamburger screaming that it gives him the ability to defy gravity with his hair."

"At least Ty sounds reasonable. Sound Check just sounds stupid." Marrissa mumbled before snickering at the suggestion, following behind Jason into the kitchen to catch a glimpse of the glowing assortment of alcoholic drinks.

"I dunno Brian, if the guy's experienced at magic, I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't made himself immortal by now. Just...winning indefinitely. Why else would he be doing such crazy shit if he doesn't even have a grasp on life anymore? It's probably the only way he can properly live." Jason contributed to the subject as he further examined the illuminated bottled drinks, picking up one of them, debating if he should take part in the 'unique' festivities that involved consuming copious amounts of magic alcohol.

Tyson had heard Marissa's statement and hid his displeasure with it. He'd normally go after someone for something like that but he only let it go so he didn't start anything at the moment. Instead Tyson was happy that what he said changed the conversation to some place else completely.

"Or maybe he's just let his power go to his head." Tyson said noticing Jason's look towards the liquor. "Jason aren't you a little young to drink legally?" Tyson asked.

Jason's face flinched within the half-second of Tyson's question. Marrissa caught wind of the query and slyly slid up to her older brother, an eyebrow raised in a 'told you so' type manner.

"Yeah Jay, aren't you like, only twenty now?" She asked in a conniving tone.

"Well yeah...but me and Katie are the same age, and always have been. I was even born a month before she was. And I'm quite sure she didn't just float to the ceiling on her own, or with the help of Leland since y'know...he's busy with the cake. Speaking of which, shouldn't you be like...getting ready to write on said cake?" Jason addressed the two, trying his best to change the subject.

"Nice try but the topics still on hand. However considering I was drunk most nights in foreign countries when I was eighteen and Katie took a drink I'll be fair. One shot of one liquor, no mixing and no liquors that give you powers that could destroy the kitchen, lounge, or any other part of the Promenade. That sounds more than reasonable if you ask me." Tyson said with a stern, don't try pushing for more face.

Jason couldn't help but smirk as he walked past Tyson to reach the table behind him, upon it lied the several bottles of alcoholic beverages brought from the depths of the fabled underwater city. One specific one caught his eye: a violet hue radiated from its dark surface, the thin bottle was one of the several yet to be uncorked.

"Welp, let's see what this one does..." He muttered, Marrissa peering from behind him curiously as he opened the bottle. A clear liquid flowed from it as he carefully poured it into the tiny shot glass, exchanging cautious looks with his younger sister before shooting it back. The drink went down smooth, not burning as much as a more stronger beverage would. He held his ground momentarily before glancing back at his sister.

"So, what does it do Jason?" She queried, eyes full of wonder. Jason exchanged her look with one of confusion.

"Jason? Who is this 'Jason' you speak of? I am the Dayman." He replied, his voice and mannerisms resembling those of Patriot Punch's.

"The Dayman?"

"The Dayman??"

"Yes, The Dayman. Fighter of the Nightman! Champion of the Sun! I'm the Master of Karate and Friendship for everyone!" He proudly announced to the younger sibling before strutting around the kitchen, repeating his declaration in a serenading form, performing faux karate moves when he mentioned karate, and holding his heart when he mentioned friendship. Marrissa couldn't contain her laughter. Quickly, she went up to the bottle, wiping the tears from her eyes as she looked for some type of explanation for Jason's actions.

"Perform an act from your favorite TV show or movie?" She said as she attempted to catch her breath. Whatever TV show it was from, it wasn't from one she's seen.

Alex giggled and kissed Richard. "Awww I don't want to go lay down alone baby." Alex said slurring her words and giggled more.

"Note to self Alex can't hold her booze." Eric joked.

"Oh shut up Eric, you're just gay because you have a small dick compared to Richard's." Alex said, that was something she would normally keep to her self.

Eric blinked and sighed. "What the hell kind of... Oh." Eric said reading the bottle of booze Alex drink that wasn't in Byran's hand. "Damn that's why she smashed."

This party was getting weirder and weirder by the second. First Alex transformed and practically threw herself upon Richard, and then Katie fell upwards into the ceiling...and fell back down. "Uh...hey, Katie, you alright over there?" Levi asked her as she made an offhand comment about her experience. No more of that magical liquor, he thought. He would happily stick to drinks that didn't make you experience inverted gravity, change form, or speak different languages.

Brian watched the scenes in the kitchen and lounge with new found amusement. Alex and Jason had both apparently lost their minds, Katie was still groggy, and for once he was the one being sane. It was pretty topsy-turvy, but good. Brian knew the source this contentment had to be stashed. With everyone drinking out of whatever they could get their hands on, it couldn't last long.

Swiftly he grabbed the bottle that removed the upgrades and ferried it to his room, hiding it in his hockey bag. If Rowan was to be successful in finding another woman willing to date him, this bottle could be the key to actually having a good first date.

After seeing various team members under various influences Taryn decided that she would not be participating in the Atlantean alcohol intake. She sighed quietly with some regret. Looking to find a semblance of normalcy in the kitchen Taryn glanced around in a search for Leland. In her concern for Levi she realized she'd left the cake unfinished. Taryn spotted the magician hovering over the cake, figuratively, still working on the tiers. He probably didn't need any help at this point. But Taryn wanted something to do. She approached Leland while avoiding contact with the rest of the kitchen's occupants.

"Need help?" Taryn asked.

"I believe I am good," Leland replied to Taryn as the middle tier was placed on top of the base with a soft thud, doing a quick walk-around to make sure it was even on all sides before grabbing a few wooden dowels to put into the cake, "Thanks though. Tyson just needs to do the writing once I'm done putting these few dowels in to keep everything stable and placing the top tier on. Everything is looking good so far."

"And then once we're done with the cake it will be gobbled up in a few minutes before being forgotten about in lieu of more important things," he said with a sigh, knocking the last dowel into place before dropping the last tier onto the middle tier, "And it is done...except the writing. Tyson! Time to help out!"

"Me? Yeah, I'm fine," Katie answered Levi with a light laugh. "Why wouldn't I be? It was one shot, falling upwards to the ceiling and a rush of blood to the head. Though as I implied, my next experience with alcohol will be more... mundane, I guess the word is. Maybe you guys can get me drunk on my twenty-first, though I don't really want to spend most of that night retching and-or throwing up." She felt like she was talking too much; presumably that was a side effect of either the magic or the alcohol itself. Katie didn't know which it was.

Still feeling the rush of happiness in his head, Rowan pulled into the Promenade's garage, parked with precision accuracy as he always did, and got out, shifting back into himself as he did so. His next objective was to find Brian and let him know about the possibility of a date in his future. Hurrying through the Promenade, he found the Canadian healer leaving his room. "Hey, so I just got back. Sabrina's gonna talk to one of her friends who could be interested in going out with you. Um... I guess I'm waiting for her to call again before I can confirm whether it's on or not."

"While I'm on the subject, I think I might have a chance to get back together with Sabi," he added, grinning at the idea.

"I apologize for her Eric, she isn't exactly in the right state of mind." Richard said before lightly gripping Alex.

"You're drunk love, perhaps you should sit down until it wears off." He said concerned, both for Alex and because he hoped she wouldn't get too frisky.

Jason continued his performance around the kitchen, obnoxiously singing inhabitants' faces before gracefully chassé-ing away from them. He ended his humorous song in the middle of the room, exalting his "name" to the heavens, a fist pumped extravagantly towards the ceiling. After the lingering effects of the outburst died down, Jason shook his head, as if he was being released from hypnosis. He glanced towards his sister, his confused grimace only bringing more tears to her laughing fit.

"Uh...what just happened?" He asked.

Brian stepped out of his room before stepping into Rowan, he was a bit weary that he may have seen what he was doing but his fears were allayed by Rowan's conversation solely on dating prospects.

"That's good to hear Rowan," Brian told the shape shifter, blessing whatever luck brought him such good news after stashing his magic juice. The opportunity to test out this unrepressed version of himself would be sooner than he thought. "For both of us, actually. So tell me, this girl, is there anything I should know about her? Likes, dislikes, stuff to avoid at all costs, that sort of thing? If this second chance at a date materializes, I'd like to go into it as prepared as possible.
