I think it's a clause of the Data Protection Act that states information should be kept for no longer than is strictly relevant. I imagine it to be something like the way a bank stores you're statement info, they keep it in archive for 6 years officially (some keep it for longer but it's then deemed irrelevant and is not used for anything, it's just there in case you request a copy of an old statement or make a subject access request). Although i admit i would not know how long google would deem as strictly relevant.Arcanist said:That's only partially true.
