maybe that south park isnt funny anymore.
South Park is hilarious and awesome, it's one of the best shows there is.
Ive seen every episode of south park twice or more (lame) and i know for a fact that 12-13 have been pretty terrible, with a few exceptions.
I'm not going to disagree with you're comments on season 12, but I've loved season 13. I've taught to see the symbolism in everything in entertainment, which makes everything all the more hilarious. Most of it's fairly obvious, but to say that season 13 sucks it pretty ridiculous, I find it hilarious. I absolutely fell in love with the whale episode, because people keep attacking the seal hunt, and 1311 is a beautiful comeback. The only episode I haven't loved is 1312, which was par, with a few really funny things in it.
I suppose i have to agree, to an extent. Maybe i just haven't recovered from my season 12 sadness that ive yet to see the hilarity of this episode. I think i liked it better when it was just an episode, not a parody of current events. i liked the older episodes and parodies a bit more than the modern ones. however, i really enjoyed the smurfs episode, and it is definitely a new favorite. However, out of season 13, i didn't like "the ring" "the coon" and "dead celebrities". Maybe im just a little over my head, i supose season 13 is pretty awsome compared to 12. I think its a pretty good year for cartoons in general, with the Family Guy, and Simpsons seasons so far being downright hilarious.
Well, I don't think there was a huge amount of symbolism in the ones you said you didn't like, and I doubt you're over your head for the most part, you probably just have a different sense of humour than me. I personally loved the Coon, and besides that annoying woman's voice who talked about spirits who haven't yet passed, I quite liked "dead celebrities." The purity ring one I also liked with it talking about being boring when you're old, like 30 year-old's. That was SO golden. You might be over you're head, or you might not care enough to really understand the episode; I suspect it's the latter. After all, not many people take a 23 minute episode very seriously, they just kind of breeze over it and expect to be entertained. "If it's a comedy show, I expect it to be funny" kind of thing. I think that's where our difference in opinion comes from, no offence meant. I hope I didn't come off as aggressive, but my sister is incredibly dismissive of Naruto, and just says "it sucks" and moves on, so that's how I came to conclude that most people just don't really care. I also get pretty mad when she does that. I don't mind very much how you said it though, and don't have any hard feelings, just so were cool.
Yeah dude, that sounds about right. I probly just miss the way the episodes used to be when the animation was all crappy. Also I miss chef. (RIP Issac Haynes)
