Watching sports. Especially football (or soccer if you're American). The players are a bunch of pussies who will whinge and moan about a scraped knee. They're overpaid and overrated.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but haven't we had this thread 15 times already the past 2 or 3 months?

Also, hate is a strong word, it'd be nice if people would stop trying to ruin it.
I was JUST going to say that! I swear to fuck, I saw one of these a couple weeks ago! They're not even being subtle about it anymore...
They? No no see it's only me. Well.... me and a ton of other schmucks who thought they were being special snowflakes with unique ideas.... which we aren't.

But yeah no real way to prevent the redundant-ness of it all since I don't really frequent the forums that often.

Will Ferrell. There is nothing in the least bit funny about that man. And Elf was one of the worst movies that I've been forced to sit through about 12 times.
This. The worst is that my girlfriend LOVES his movies.

OT: Repetitive music. I despise it. If a song repeats the same word or phrase more than three times in a row, I find a new station.

Pitbull. I'll just be anywhere, and hear an otherwise perfectly normal song, and all of a sudden, just "Daleh.", in that pretentious voice, and I go WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU EVEN HERE FOR. DID THEY NEED A CUBAN THAT BADLY TO SAY ONE F***ING WORD.

More generally, I tend to dislike features in songs of much more famous or equally famous artists for seemingly the sole purpose of being able to put ft. Whoever in the title.

My Little Pony. Haven't seen the show, but I loathe the fanbase.

Assassin's Creed. I don't particularly hate it, but I have a dislike for it as they are all so pathetically easy to play.

Butter. I just cant stand it. It wouldn't be half as bad I didn't get people going "You dont like butter? What?!" It tastes bad, and it's bad for you. The only 'advantage' it has is that it makes sandwiches less dry, but I tend to like dry sandwiches.
...Okay what does it say about me as a person that the only thing in your entire post that struck me as odd was the fact that you know people who put butter on their sandwiches?

You sound like someone who'd enjoy watching Todd in the Shadows.

Where do you live? I don't know about anywhere else, but in England damn near everyone puts butter in almost every kind of sandwich. Some people put it in their burgers as well.

I can't really think of anything I hate that other people love. Some things just aren't for me and going out of the way to hate it wont stop people from loving it.

Oh, I live in the West edge of the US, so that's probably why.

I can't think of anything I hate off the top of my head, mostly I either like something or don't care about it enough to have any strong emotions connected to it.

I suppose that at a push I could say that I used to hate facebook. I still think it's invasive ,that its got a strange idea of what it means to be friends with someone and often wonder why it is that people I don't really know are on that list. I do however log in a couple of times a week, sometimes more..so I can't really claim that I hate it.

Threads like this. They do nothing but promote negative emotions, both in expressing your own dislike of things others may like, and ruining your mood seeing something good being bashed by people with wrong opinions.

THIS! I hate threads like this! I only ever find nasty flamebaiting, backed by wild idiocy! I find everything from "BACK IN MY DAY" type rants, to insane generalisations of an entire type of entertainment.
You bit like a champion!

These fucking things. I almost throw a shit fit whenever I see anyone wearing these. I don't care how comfortable they are, they are the ugliest footwear ever created, together with those awful running shoes with toes.
What about Crocs?

Time to get labeled as a contrarian,

Things I hate:

Coffee (literally makes me gag and wanna vomit if I smell it/taste it)
Shrimp, Lobster, Crab, Oysters, and I assume all other shellfish (though I like fried clams and scallops are borderline tolerable)
Asparagus (tastes and smells like blood in my mouth)
Singing competition TV shows. Kelly Clarkson is the only talent produced by one so far as I'm concerned, and having 2-3 on each night is truly redundant.

Which brings me to another major hatred of mine. I hate the song 'I will always love you' by Whitney Houston. I always have, regardless of the singer, regardless of the ability of the singer or lack there of. Its a terrible song, and if its on TV you will only EVER hear the very end of the song. With the really long nails-on-a-chalkboard "omg make it stop" note followed by the run that sounds like a cat giving birth, followed by the really long even higher pitched "making my ears bleed where is the remote?!" sustained note. The whole song is, I imagine, supposed to showcase ones vocal range. All I hear is a collection of dissonant harpy shriekings couched inside a trite love song.

Also, the National Anthem of the U.S.A. has taken on this bizarre level of complexity that is truly ridiculous to listen to. Everyone tries to make it as awe inspiring a performance as possible because its supposed to be THE song to sing live. I've never heard a "singer" sing it and not cringed as they either fail completely, or "succeed" and make the song completely unintelligible. Just sing it like a normal person! It shouldn't take 15 minutes to get though the national anthem!

Final Fantasy 7: I can never fully express my utter contempt for this game, and what it started, which was the gradual degradation of a series whose first 6 installments are some of my favorite games in the medium. I apparently lack, despite playing at the time of its release extensively, whatever perspective needed to appreciate and polish that turd. FF8 was better in every way for me, then 9 got a little weird because for everything I liked there were 2 I didn't, 10 was mostly crap, 12 I liked to a point though I couldn't tell you ANYTHING that actually happened in it, and 13 I didn't even bother finishing.

Bioshock/Dishonored/Mass Effect/Arkham ___/Bayonetta/DMC/Resident Evil (ther than 4)- I couldn't care less about these games.

Twilight/Hunger Games- No, just no.

Honey Boo Boo/Dance Moms/ANYTHING on "The learning channel" - No, just no. And you should be arrested for child abuse and your kids should get taken from you, because you are a fucking monster.

Everybody Loves Raymond - There is no more poorly named show in the history of television. Anyone that can watch that show and think its funny, has issues. Debra is quite possibly the least likably woman in television history, and the entire show is just her and Ray's parents pouring shit on him and Robert. Not even in a joking way, they honestly seem to hate him. If that were a real family I'd feel sorry for his daughters. I'm kidding mostly but that show is crap. Same with Frasier, and the Office.

Lastly, Arrested Development. I may like most of the cast, and think they are funny in other works they have done, but I simply cannot enjoy AD. There is nothing about it that makes me laugh or interested. I've tried, my friends that have similar tastes as me think I'm crazy. I just can't like that show.

I always catch flak for this, but I dispised the Nintendo 64. It felt like every game wanted you to use every button on the keypad as though you had three hands, everything was overpriced, and all my friends had them, so I had to try to grit my way through everything I was forced to play that I hadn't played before so I got devastated. All the time! This hasn't sat well with me, and I hate the thing to this day!

They bother me less, but I also doubt they qualify for this topic.
