It looks like the millenium falcon.

o_O I bet Lando was Flying. Han's gonna be PISSED.
damn you, thats what i was going to say. but honestly... 87m isn't that far down. how costly could it possibly be. get a boat, and a camera waterproof to 100m. I have had watches with better water resistance.

but one thing this video doesn't mention (or i did not see it) was how large the object was. maybe someone dropped a hand made model of the millenium falcon.

I wouldn't call it a UFO because UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. Clearly someone a little too alien happy thought UFO stood for "OMG ALIENS".

What do I think it is? A giant rock. There tend to be a lot of them in the ocean.

It's the chest plate from a Warhound Titan ... and the Imperium of Man will soon arrive to reclaim it and obliterate our heretic ways.

Treasure hunters in Sweden have discovered something at the bottom of the Blatic Sea, 87 metres below the surface.

What it is is a mystery as of a yet and it'll probably stay that way as the treasure hunters have little funding to actually go down there and check it out. All that people know now is that it's round and has an impact trail following it.

So, what do you think it is? A simple aircraft? A UFO? Cthulhu's frisbee?

87 meters? I'm pretty sure you can get that deep with diving equipment, assuming ur careful when you come back up to avoid the bends. It shouldn't be that expensive at all
max 40 meters with normal diving equipment. And that's for super advanced divers. Max 10-20 minutes as well.
Sooo.... you would need a sub or some very expensive special diving equipment.
Free-divers can hit 40 meters and over 6 minutes. I'm gonna call a fact check on this one.

The free diving record is 88 meters, deeper than whatever it is. Actually, that one was beat, it's closer to 115 meters: http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2010/04/26/Man-sets-380-foot-free-diving-record/UPI-86341272309064/

We'll find out in 2012, when Cthulu arises and begins his hunt for a dark god's version of the Buddhist hot dog: One with everything. Including you.

Do we know the coordinates?

I wonder if it was near the bloop....
i thought the bloop was down off antartica
It was, but given that the bloop's origin was theorized by the man who recorded the bloop, Dr. Christopher Fox, to be some sort of animal, it's not unthinkable that the source of the bloop has moved.

It is quite obviously a capsule containing the first tantalizing clues about Half-Life Episode 3 in addition to the technology for faster-than-light travel--the start of an elaborate master plan by Valve to lead us across time and space in the search for more Half-Life.

Clearly it can't be aliens because they only land in the US.
Must be Cthulhu's frisbee, but do we retrive it and earn some good will or will he get pissed if someone goes poking it.

A shipping container lost by the Old Ones 800 million years ago. Inside is a very old and very hungry Shoggoth.

More seriously, well...yeah, I have no fucking clue either. Looks like a spaceship to me. I have the horrible feeling it'll turn out to be something completely mundane, though. I'm certainly interested in seeing some investigative team get down there.

...what? A man can dream of being able to travel faster than light.
Meh a Slip Space Drive would be 10x more useful.
Mass Effect FTL uses slipstream, so I fail to see why the drive would be 10x more useful.
Slip Space Drives let you jump any were in galaxy instantaneously without relays.
Oh, I see, I read the star trek version of slip drives and it sounded identical to the way ME ships FTL travel without Mass Relays, my bad.
