I suppose Bioshock's been out forever, but
killing Andrew Ryan with a 9 iron even though you have no reason to do so, and he tells you to do it only proving how much of a robot you are.
That is a load of shit, If they gave us the choice to listen to him I'd be fine, But you are doing what he says because the game gives you no other option.
Too bad you couldn't just drag his body into a vita chamber afterwards lol

Most escort missions do this for me.

Also seeing the Cyberdemon in Doom 3 but then finding out he is easier than Bob the Fish from Earthworm Jim.

I was having a ton of fun with Too Human. Then I learned that the learning curve was actually a wall. A very high wall. Indoors.

Splinter Cell: Conviction.
The Iraq level.
It turns into bad, stripped down version of Gears of War.
I honestly thought that was the best part of the game. I still maintain that the end of that level was one of my finest moments in gaming - burst down the door, headshotted one guy, double-tapped the second. It was a beautiful sight.

Valkyria Chronicles: the scene after the battle in ch 11 where two characters who didn't get along before FINALLY set aside their differences, only for the scene to end tragically.

You know who and what I'm talking about fellow VC fans.

The sudden switch from playing a hybrid of COPS and GTA in True Crime: Streets of LA to fighting a radioactive lava dragon in what looked like the Earth's core.

That should have been cool, but, unlike in Condemned 1 where the build up to fighting demons is slow and intense and psychological and makes you wonder if what's his name (I think it's Ethan) is just slowly losing his mind the same way that the addicts have done, True Crime: Streets of LA just throws you into this fight with no warning and no sense of transition. I have never seen a more out of left field plot twist. Giant Space Flea From Nowhere, much?

When I put Fallout 3 into my Xbox for the first time and realized that it was Oblivion.
Should've bought Fallout 3, then. Sorry, but most people who like F3 think of Oblivion as Fallout 3 without the guns.

Oh, I HATE escort missions, no matter what.

And uhh...really that easy? 'Cause the Bob battle is like...no effort. I assume the Cyberdemon SHOOTS at you, right? There's a risk involved?

Playing Killing Floor burning up loads of zombies when a rake appears, I decide to leg it. But When I turn around I se four sirens approaching me (they were just about to enter scream range I belive) and running thourhg that would more or less be suicide so I decied to run past the scrake which I succeeded to do. But then it turns out that every zombie that had spawned were more or less in that big room so I run into a smaller room only to get swarmed when I almsot reach the end of it. :(

Playing Freelancer and finding out that anything you did in the epic first game, which is all about sacrifice, doesn't matter in the least bit for the shitty sequel- D: D: D: D: D:

And then there was RAEG!!!!
