Regarding the exorcisms, I didn't take it at all seriously, but I can act the part well enough to bring people some kind of spiritual relief, while affording myself some shits and giggles. The only reason I even found myself in those situations was when some friends (on unrelated occasions) felt their abodes were haunted, so I said I'd deal with it. Showed up and did my oogly boogily and convinced them the 'problem' was 'fixed'.

I'm actually an a rational skeptic with an open mind. Agnostic practitioner - that sort of thing. Certainly not christian though, if that's what you're thinking.

But I retract the "apart from the exorcism" part of my previous post, for this little golden nugget:

Also I am really funny in real life, I;ll just say something and people will be all like

So if you say all that that pretty much cancels out all the geeky ness

My non-nerdy factor goes quite far actually - I study Ancient History, Geography, Design Technology and English Literature at A level, have a massive passion for anything to do with Circus Skills (a bigger passion than even gaming, infact), and can interact and socialise with people.

I guess the circus skills help you to juggle that mix of A levels...

Playing sport at a National level achieves a non-nerdy status for me I think. But in the same respect as a nerd can do non-nerdy/jocky things, people who have been socially grouped as jocks have nerdy tendencies also.

I am, first and foremost, a sports guy. I follow the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots (no prizes for guessing where I was born and raised) and prefer watching sports to gaming---if I had to give up one or the other, I'd give up games.
