Probably about two thirds of the way through the first Bioshock, when:
Atlas is revelaed to be Frank Fontaine, and betrays you.

I was absolutely shocked.

Off Topic:Also, does anybody know what's wrong with my copy of the game? I bought it again recently on PC, and when I installed it and ran it up to the menu perfectly fine. When I actually get in the game, there is no sound whatsoever.

I have it on the highest graphical settings and so on and so forth, but it's just the sound I'm having rouble with.

Apparently, this is a very common problem with Windows 7 64bit machines (like mine), but every fix I've tried hasn't done anything...
I doubt I've got the fix that you need, but I remember having a problem with bioshock on pc and the solution was to plug something into the mic input. I did some research to get that I didn't just find that out or make it up... Good luck, maybe try the steam forums if you have yet too.

On topic now!
One week I watched a film on TV nearly every night and I think I cried about 2-3 times, I don't think the films were anything really emotive. Maybe sitting in does that to me :/

The closest for me was when I was going through Lily's story in Katawa Shoujo. I can't really talk about it without spoiling, but it certainly was pulling on my heart strings even when I saw it coming. I even felt a tide of relief and joy when the moment passed onto something...with a more...positive outcome presented itself. Sorry if that didn't make much sense. It's like playing charades and what they are acting out is the end of a good movie that only you have seen and your trying to describe what it is without saying what it is...if that even makes sense...

I find it odd how many people cry over Fry's dog dying. I found Luck of the Fryish to be sadder than that episode. :x

Did someone play Kataaw Shoujo recently?
I did and loved it, but in all honesty I was expecting tears to flow with that game an hour in. Many of mman tears were spilled over those nights.
Awesome :)

I'll shamefully admit that the second season of K-ON! (titled K-ON!!) made me cry at episodes 20 and 24.
you really like katawa shoujo eh AC10 :) I do as well but it didnt quite make me cry almost but not quite still I do have lilys and shizunes paths left to do. You did remind me about K-ON!! though that got me as well a few manly tears were shed dont know why that show touched me so much.

The only game that has made me cry a few tears is Valkyria Chronicles at about the halfway point with the song.

Movies er none for a long long time last one I can remember was Old Yeller when I was a kid that also reminds me I dont even know what the piece was but way way back in first school the teacher played a short piece of classical music and I could not stop crying god knows why nothing like that has happened before or since I just couldnt figure out what was wrong with me why cry when im not happy or sad?
