The ending of the movie Warrior. It didn't have me crying but it had me very close to that. Few things like that do. I didn't expect it though, I was pulling them back. Think if I hand't had my brother in the room, I wouldn't have held them back.

The bad ending for Shizune caught me off guard real bad, and I did tear up a little, but that was the full extent. I dont think I've properly bawled or even shed tears in over four years since I decided after going through many hardships in primary school that I would shut myself off from the world. and I did just that, I've only recently started coming out of my shell with the help of a good friend.

From KS :p.

Certain stories just really, really resonated with me on a deep level.

Hmm...y'know, I can't actually remember the last time I cried. Maybe 7 years ago? I get choked up by things, but I can't seem to get to the crying stage...

Last thing I can remember bringing me to tears was the ending of Kingdom Hearts. The song just starts at just the right moment that it just hit me hard and I couldn't help but cry heavily. Then again, the whole game was just written so damn well. When Square Enix puts their heart into a story, it really shows.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfjvfQDEF7A I just nearly burst into tears at this...and I haven't played the damn game in forever. God dammit...

Which death scene? I'm guessing you mean

But I genuinely can't figure out which one for sure.
The death scene from Deus Ex HR that I hope we are all talking about is...

When your plane crashes and the chinese blow it up with Malik still inside. You later find her body in the Harvesters den which hurts a little >.>

The game Beyond Good & Evil. Especially the scene where [redacted] get(s) [redacted] from your [redacted], and Jade is tearing herself up inside and projecting it all on [redacted].
The game leans so heavily on clichéd tropes and recognizable archetypes, I really may never understand how they were made to be so beautifully gripping, so touching, so right.

The ending of MGS4 had me welling up but for completely unexpected tears it would have been a certain character's sacrifice in GOW3 and "Letters from Iwo Jima"-just watched it today and broke down by the end.

Oh man I remember that, it didn't particulary upset but there was definitely a surge of "Bloody hell.....": do you think if you stay with the VTOL and are a fine marksman you could keep the Belltower bastards back?

The ending to Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

For a few reasons, one it was totally unexpected, and two it hit with a force of a ton.

Yuki dies around the eighth episode from fatigue (and possibly head trauma caused by a hit to his head when the Tokyo tower collapsed), and you don't know this until around the tenth when you realise something is not up. What happens is that Yuki's sister believed that he was still alive, and so it created a psychological effect, even though it was far from the truth. In the episodes towards the end, You see Yuki being his normal self after the hospital treatment, but no other characters other than his sister response to what he says, or even acknowledge that he is there. This is made apparent when his sister goes to his school and cries all over his paintings, and wonders why she is. Then you find out that he is dead, and it really pulls on the heartstrings so much. The hospital scene when his sister meets up with her parents after the earthquake is one of most saddest scenes I've ever seen in anime, and yes it beats grave of the fireflies by a significant margin, because it was so unexpected, and so painful. I seriously don't think I can ever watch it again, everything else was painful enough.

Chasing Amy for me. I love the movie so much, but the ending brings tears to my eyes every time and I NEVER cry.

(It also makes me want to punch Ben Affleck right in the jaw, but thats for another reason. Just watch the damn movie!)

Did someone play Kataaw Shoujo recently?
Why, in fact I did. I have finished Emi's, Lilly's and Hanako's arcs in that order and am currently on Shizune's.

OT: I frequently have to fight my tears when watching Scrubs. Hilarious as it can be, the more dramaitic moments really hit me. Like Dr. Cox's depression, for instance. His talk with Kelso really moved me in a way I didn't think possible for a comedy.

I initially didn't expect to cry when I started watching Clannad, I just thought it was another moe anime, and kept watching because I liked the characters, particularly the protagonist. And the that happened. I cried like a *****. I cried again two episodes later, but theose were tears of joy, do those count?

End of red dead remeption, and the end of "Wolf brother" on audio book. I cried with rage at red dead, and balled like a baby for wolf brother.

Edit: and toy story 3. The first one was the first film I ever saw. So much childhood. Oh god.....

Almost every Disney movie ever.
I'm a pretty teary kind of girl, and sad kittens are pretty much all it takes to make me tear up.
