What song makes you cry? And I mean the one song that makes you cry more than any other song. For me, it's the song "Summer" from the soundtrack album to the movie Kikujiro. For some reason, it's so beautiful it makes me cry my eyes out. How about you?

High five for liking Kikujiro!

*high five*

Takeshi Kitano must not go unappreciated!

OT: I'm not really sure... Most of the songs that have made me cry did so when I was a child.

I guess I'll have to take the song from Charlotte's Web when Charlotte kicks it.

"Sail no more" from Toy Story. I don't know if that's the actual title of the song, but whatever.

It can also be a funny song.

"Goodbye Blue Sky" by Pink Floyd makes me tear up a little bit sometimes too.

"Lose You" by Pete Yorn. I first heard it at the end of S05E20 of House, M.D., and it always reminds me of a great loss me and my family suffered a few years ago. I couldn't help it, the sadness and grief hit me like a sledgehammer in the face.

It's not a "Song" in the strictest sense, but Adagio for stings sends me straight into a deep depression. "My Heart will go on" also sad as fuck, I also shed a tear whenever someone like the Jones Brothers get their hooks into a classic like "Yesterday" or Blitzkrieg Bop."

'If It Means A Lot To You' by A Day To Remember.
It doesn't always make me cry, but it either gets me close or makes me cry a little.

This one gets me almost every time. You really have to listen to the lyrics though.
I don't expect any females to understand though...

My mam thinks its horrible... But me and my dad love it...

EDIT: it makes me cry with happiness of course

Let The Monster Rise, from Repo.
When he got to 'Can't we just go home, Shi' and you could hear the pain in his voice.
Man, he was good.

None, but here are two that bring me close if I am in a sad mood at the time:

Lyrics:

The cruelest year
Stole lives too young
And many more still
In the balance hung

We couldn?t breath
Try as we might
Fragile as feedback
Hopeless as the night

But the course has run
The damage done
The slate wiped clean again

The cruelest year
Tore loves apart
Its greedy fingers
Rending blameless hearts

This empty space
Where once loved dwelled
Razed to foundations
Left an empty shell

But the course has run
The damage done
The slate wiped clean again

The cruelest year
Left us behind
The mangled wreckage
Of our lives entwined

We bore the scares
Mistakes we made
The walking wounded
In a grim parade

But the course has run
The damage done
The slate wiped clean again

But the course has run
The damage done
The slate wiped clean again

I am merely the product
Of the life that I've lived
An amalgam of sorrows
And the wisdom they give
But the weight has grown heavy
And its dragging me down
It's so hard not to sink now
But I don't want to drown

CHORUS
I'm damaged
But somehow I've managed
This far
But I don't know if I can find my way back home
I'm damaged
But somehow I've managed
For now
But I don't think I can face this on my own

There is beauty in hardship
There are poems in grief
There are trials we must go through
Though they may shake our beliefs

But I don't know how I got here
Lost in the cynical dusk
Set adrift in the worry
That I've no one to trust

(CHORUS)

If to suffer is holy
I'll take my share of the pain
I can swim through this sadness
If there's something to gain

I can reach for the surface
And try to pull myself free
But the last thing I want is
To drag you down here with me

(CHORUS)

I feel pretty close to tears when I listen to the cover of "Cemetary Gates" by Pantera, covered by Evile.
Though the only songs I've cried while listening to are Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead and Adam's Song by Blink-182.

Jolene - Ray LaMontagne

Sticking with the Johnny Cash theme (though i know it's originally dylan), the version of "It ain't me babe" by Phoenix and Witherspoon is pretty sad.

Well i don't actually cry but the saddest song I know is
Barenaked ladies- war on drugs

I mean the lyrics:

Near where I live there's a viaduct
Where people jump when they're out of luck
Raining down on the cars and trucks below

They've put a net there to catch their fall
Like it'll stop anyone at all
What they don't know is when nature calls, you go

They say that Jesus and mental health
Are just for those who can help themselves
But what good is that when you live in hell on earth?

From the very fear that makes you want to die
Is just the same as what keeps you alive
It's way more trouble than some suicide is worth

Add Steve's voice. Bloody fantastic

Never cried because of a song, but I think some of the House M.D. soundtrack are quite emotional.
