I was going to say what ever songs the OP likes should be banned.... but what you say just sounds, well, more nice.
This may surprise you, but this type of thread is often intended to be humorous in nature and isn't actually suggesting we make certain songs illegal. In fact, you could probably even say the true purpose of this thread is to express our disdain for these songs, and request that people stop using them in their videos.

You know the songs. The ones that seem to be in every fucking video you seem to come across.

I don't know how many times I've heard Requiem for a Tower or Blow Me Away.

If you could ban any song from Youtube videos, what would it be?
Dammit!

It's a shame really, I used to love that song till all the stupid videos with it in.
The same thing happened to me with Linkin Park.
It's funny you should mention that. Recently I realised that if you listen to Never Gonna Give You Up with decent headphones it's actually a pretty epic bass-ey song.
I agree with you there, though at least some rickrolls are quite funny.

This one for example

Secretly you know that deep down, it is.

Personally, I think that all links to Friday should be swapped with links to:

That's because they are made of PURE DISTILLED AWESOME.

Seriously though, Bodies. I like it too, but unlike those other two it gets old.

I'll have to agree with Bodies.

The only appropriate use for that song:

Hm. Rick Roll as well, but I like the song on occasion.

Oh. Slam, by Pendulum. It's a decent song, but I hear it way way way too much for me to enjoy it anymore.
I'd feel so powerful if I was that guy. Surely all that power would get to people :p

Bodies is definitely a prime offender, and let's not forget 'In The End' by Linkin Park. Seriously if a random music video doesn't feature bodies, it usually has the other one.

It's unfair to people who hate the songs to use them as the backing track to every 5th video that is otherwise pretty interesting.

In fact, the only time Bodies is EVER, EVER, AT ALL appropriate is if you're using it as a joke about how the L4D2 Aus version is so heavily censored that the ragdolls fade before they hit the ground.

Btw: Have any of you Aus. L4D2 players actually got the appid hack thing to work with multiplayer?

Captcha: Sommer. criantel
It used to work with multiplayer if the other person had changed it as well, but there was a patch that broke that. Try LAN?

Anything by Rebecca Black, Justin Bieber, that thing known as Kesha, and that Bodies song (it's in nearly EVERY Call of Duty or Battlefield sniper montage). I'm not for censorship, but a line has to be drawn somewhere when only shit music becomes popular.

(And no, I don't listen to this type of drivel, as it's almost literally shoved through my eardrum.)

The disgusting track people keep using, for reasons way beyond my understanding, called 009 Sound System something-or-another.
