Sonic Team Isn't Making Sonic 4

I think that Fail Sonic Team's input has been cut out is perhaps the biggest contribution to this being a successful venture.

yup. I'm officially the only crazy person left in the world. I actually LIKED Sonic Adventure 2, but can agree that Sonic Team has really fallen off since that cool-ass Sonic 2 on the Genesis. Maybe Dimps can save it.... naaaaahhh.

I fucking love the DS Sonic Rush offerings. They are better than the old MegaDrive games.

As long as it's fast-paced, gimmicky, and colorful like the classic Sonic titles, I think it could succeed.

Dimps is responsible for all the 2D Sonics on Nintendo handhelds and they developed many of the levels in the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed which is arguably superior to its 360/PS3 counterparts. But most importantly, they made the original Sonic Advance, which was the last great Sonic game. If anyone can make Sonic 4 amazing, its these guys.

I actually think it's a good thing that there is a fresh team working on it... Sonic Team hasn't done much good in awhile.
And again, I wonder why Knuckles and Tails (the only good characters) aren't allowed. Co-op Sonic games were amazing.

I hope Sonic Team learns a thing or two from Dimps on how to make a Sonic game regardless 2d or 3d.

Sonic Team can make a good Sonic game just beta test more so plays more smoothly.

I'm going to miss Tails,Knuckles etc... in this game because I actually liked them.

I completely agree I actually like Tails and Knuckles and even Shadow, but characters like silver and the weird hoverboarding birds from sonic riders we could do without

That's one thing I don't understand, after all the failed Sonic Team games, why the hell are they still around. Surely Sega can see that they are no good, so why not make a team that can actually make good games.

The games didn't fail financially. I'm fairly sure Sonic Unleashed sold around 4 million copies. As long as the games sell they'll keep making them.

That would explain it a lot, since the only good RECENT Sonic games were made by THQ on the GBA. Half of unleashed was really good but I recall that being made by someone else. Please SEGA, do us ALL a favor and just let other companies make your games for us? We don't want the likes of Silver, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Cream, or the other freaks joining the party.

Tails, Knuckles are the only other friends Sonic has.

Dimps have made the best Sonic games since Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush are actually really well made, good games. Here's a toast to Sonic speeding down the right route.

Dimps also made sonic rush, the only genuinely good sonic game we've had in a while. I'm on the fence over whether or not this will be good, having the sonic 1 bonus stages though I think was a mistake... oh wait don't tell me... EPISODE 2 WILL HAVE SONIC 2 STYLE BONUS STAGES! yawn.
