Sonic only became a punching bag with 06, and from an inability to fully shake off the stigma because of uneven releases that followed. People can retroactively claim that the punching began from day 1, but it's not the case by any means.

In retrospect it's easy to point out that almost all the 3D Sonic games kind of suck, but at the time people thought they were good, especially Sonic Adventure 2. Also Sonic always has to be compared to Mario, and the worst main series Mario title since Super Mario 64 is generally considered to be either Super Mario Sunshine or New Super Mario Bros. 2, and neither of them is considered a bad game, just a lacklustre *Mario* game.

Heroes is certainly flawed, and none of the others are perfect, but "suck?" No. Not really.

Now of course, that's just one claim against another, but while there's certainly individual Sonic games that are lacklustre, there isn't some arbitrary designation that all the 3D ones are bad. Least not for me.

Captain America Winter Soldier is a Metal Gear Solid movie.

Death Race (2008) is Twisted Metal.

Overlord is Castle Wolfenstein and COD zombies.

Been saying it for ages, there's no shortage of "decent" VG-movies. Looking at the above list, I'll second MK, Detective Pikachu, and Warcraft. Now, none of these are "good" (to me), but "decent?" Yeah, sure. And if we're adding "decent" VG-based movies, I can add Prince of Persia and the original Resident Evil. That's not even counting direct to DVD stuff or spinoff media/DVD tie-ins.

I dunno. Like, maybe my standards are low. I certainly really enjoyed Double Dragon and Super Mario as a kid (I won't say they're "decent" now as it's been at least two decades since I saw either of them), but there's certainly no shortage of VG-based movies I enjoy.

Shadbase is an interesting lad. His artwork is pretty vile, quality is nice but the context / subject is very taboo. However, in real life the guy is actually very humble and civil, even going so far as to help those who're down.

Now is he an overall good person? Who knows, but his answers / tweets / responses differ from how we portray his artwork and the recent Sonic submissions he's giving out feels like satire / parodies rather than what you'd expect from him.

Living life, landed a good job, got myself a ragdoll cat to care for and love ... just living .

One of my cats is a ragdoll, best cats ever. I would never let a ragdoll outside unattended though, I worry their defense mechanism to flop would get them killed. They are very playful, loving cats towards humans, though my ragdoll is the one who steals all the cat toys and sits on them and hides them so the other cats can't play with them. He has a tendency to pile things up and hide them and if you find his stash, he moves it. When I was having all the throw rugs cleaned and discovered his stash hidden under one of the rugs, he carried his loot to the bathtub and piled it up in there instead. I also have to watch him around lego, he will steal all the minifigures heads and hide those as well.

I think this is the only avatar I have ever had that did not offend someone.
