Are any of you still anxiously clutching a plush Crash Bandicoot and ticking off the days until you can once again browse the PSN store?
...N-no! Of course not!

...On a completely unrelated note, are you guys peeking into my window again? I mean, I just felt stares from someone. It's not that it had anything to do with your question at all!

Screw you, ghost of double posts!
I shall edit this later into something relevant.

Nintendo 3DS should offer plenty to tide over this storm.

-Pokemon White
-Radiant Historia
-Bowser's Inside Story
-Legend of Zelda Ocarina 3D (pre ordered)

Take your time Sony. Take you time.

*sigh* I really hope the hacker(s) responsible for this are found and punished heavily. At first I wasn't upset about PSN being down because I figured it would be down for only a week or two, but this is getting ridiculous. This isn't only affecting my online games either. I went to play Dragon Age Origins today thinking it would be fine since its single player, but I can't play because trophy information cannot load and it exits the game...

I have two things to say to the hacker(s): I hate you and go die in a fire.

EDIT: and I don't believe this is the doing of anon. Maybe some asshole(s) trying to be of the anon moniker, but the general consensus of the anonymous group is that they're for the people (which this attack most certainly does not represent). Plus, if this was the main Anon group then they would own up to their acts just like any other time. I'm just stating my opinion on the whole "anon or non-anon" debate spawned from this.

so they're not sure if they'll even be done by the end of the month? interersting
you can hate hackers all you want but the fact that the vulnerability is SO severe speaks VOLUMES of the terrible design the service had. This is not some hole you patch. They seem to be re-building it almost from scratch o_O.
On a lighter note, this sort of thing certainly has helped make out the sony sympathizers from the sony die-hard fanboys. The things I've read in some forums about their commitment to psn is nothing short of stunning. Some even said once the service went back up, they would buy as many games as they could to show Sony they care. D'awwwww.

It's a good thing I have lots of couch play games. Oh wait, half of them won't work due to trophy information not loading or some such nonsense.

Pretty discouraging that they think 3 weeks from NOW is unrealistic.

I hear the sound of water running, and oh look! It's sony, circling the drain of credibility! Seriously though, I don't even own a PS3 and I find myself shaking my head at these shenanigans.

I just want it back, man. Portal 2's validation of its gratis Steam copy, a few dashes of DLC, and to play Dead Space 2 while online so that I can get Ser Issac's Armor in DA2. I don't even know how they can make shit up to us at this point. It's not like there's too many games of old that they could release that I'm desperately missing in my life. I mean, if this was Nintendo, they could at least put the Mother titles up in recompense. But this is Sony. F7U12, man.

Man, all I want to do is activate my PS3 copy of Portal 2, so I can play in on my PC too.

DAMN YOU, HACKERS!

look sony has difficulty with a lot of stuff right now. sony has to deal with the hacking problem, the angry customers, the many lawsuits against it for not protecting the information as well as it could, government officials hounding down their backs and to come up with ways to apologize to its loyal customers as well as to write coding and programs to better defend their security priorities to ensure that something like this never happens again

Well, I for one want to personally thank Sony for taking steps to ensure that I get a good mark for my uni course this semester by removing just another source of distraction.

Also, shit is getting old. Bring PSN back, please.

I wish I had a crash bandicoot plushie, that would be awesome.

More ontopic though, it's getting pretty ridiculous now. It's staggering how long it's taking and how little information we have.

If it wasn't for my impending finals and the required cramming I am having to do. I would be much more pissed about this. But, in all seriousness SONY, EPIC FUCKING FAIL

This just makes me scared.....I'm going to college soon and I plan to have a career in network security. It's now I realize just how much responsibility is going to be on my shoulders, and how much shit I'm going to take if something goes wrong. And yet, when everything goes right, no one notices.
