This looks pretty unlikely to me. Nintendo's cross-universe fighter was only possible because Nintendo already had a solid roster of famous and classic characters. More to the point, they were colorful and unique, but all within the same colorful theme. Which made Snake such an odd choice to add.
Square, too, had a bunch of games that were separate, yet fundamentally linked enough for an elemental conflict of good and evil to draw the characters in as representatives.
Sony...not so much. There's Kratos, the Kratos clones, various FPS protagonists, and an odd grab-bag of half-forgotten ex-Mascots that would have to do the heavy lifting. Sackboy, Spyro, Sly Cooper, Crash, Fortesque, Ratchet & Clank, and the Lemmings are close enough in tone to go together, yet different enough to be unique. The problem is expanding on the roster. Do Kratos and Sly really belong in the same universe together? I feel like this thing would have trouble meshing together thematically.
