Mass Effect. May the RPG and the Space Opera live once more!

Oblivion.

Eeeeewwww.

Poor as an RPG, dull as an action game, and an unworthy successor to The Elder Scrolls II & III if you ask me. As a fan of The Elder Scrolls up until now, I found it to be a major dissapointment.

So true it's sad.
Of the latest generation (of which I do not own any consoles, just PC) I will have to say Fallout 3.

I would say that my favorite games are oblivion, mass effect, fallout 3, and gears of war. Each of these games stole much of my life away

Fallout 3 was very good, for an oblivion mod (DONT DENY IT, IT TOTALLY IS)
Portal Wins for most innovative and definitely the most fun I had with my computer since Populous: The Beginning (so under appreciated)
I was generally unimpressed by anything in the 'Generation' (a term whos definition is up for debate) but I do anticipate a good year, FF13 is coming out so yea no matter what this year will be better than last

unfortunately FFXIII won't be out till april 2010 in the west. Sucks to be us.
