OT: No Russian. It was meant to be emotional and morally grey, but it was so horrifically publicised and advertised that I realised it was a gimmick, and when I played it, instead of thinking "my GOD, these are normal people like me!" I thought "Huh, interesting" in an uninterested manner

When a character disappears and no one cares, that means either the developers are horrible at telling a story or they weren't important characters.

It's not really a spoiler. It's common knowledge that anyone of your team mates can die in the final mission.

Not to everyone it isn't.

And the very existence of the character in question is in itself a massive spoiler.

But if you want to go ahead and ruin someone's day be my guest.

Why the hostility?
I didn't say who or what the character was, all I gave was a name.
Saying something might possibly happen if you do or don't do something unspecific isn't spoiling anything.

I'm not being hostile really, sorry if I came off that way. (besides I would be reluctant to be hostile to someone with Lamb of God as their avatar, did you get Wrath?), I just felt the thread was getting a little spoilerific and didn't want things to get ruined for people.

I can see how it isn't really a spoiler if you know nothing about the game, but it's always better safe than sorry I guess.

Yeah, i can see where you're coming from. I went back and spoiler'ed my original comment anyway. (Yes, I did get Wrath; special edition and all. Very good album, beats Sacrament IMO)

Hell yeah...

There are loads of moments on that album that blow me away every time... the instrumental outro section to 'IN Your Words', the machine gun riffing halfway through 'Contractor', just after it gets fast again and he does the big scream... man I'm gonna go listen to it right now.

I love the intro to the album. I actually just love it in general when albums start off with a slow intro and go straight into something fast and/or heavy. There's so many great songs on that album. In Your Words, Set to Fail, Fake Messiah, Broken Hands, Shoulder of Your God.... Damn it, I love this album!

Yeah they're all fuckin amazing songs. They are at the top of thier game IMO. I love 'We Die Alone' too, that song is just evil.
