What do you have against Alien 3?

Also because the original plan for the movie, was them all returning to earth, which has bladerunner style megacities (the ones with mysterious steam coming from everywhere). Where the Aliens get into the sewers breed massive numbers and eventually swarm up to take over the world. The only thing in their way? Battalions of Colonial Marines fighting them for every inch of the planet. The only problem is they didn't have the money or effects for this.

I came would LOVE it if that movie was to be made.

they probably canceled it because there weren't any characters left to make a decent storyline with because they killed them all in 3!

on the other hand I think they stopped caring about storylines about halfway through spider men 2

On a related note I am frustrated to see that it took 14 posts before anyone spelled Robert Pattinsons name right, including the OP. This is the internet people. It should be easy to fact check. If it's so horrible that a Twillight star is in Spiderman then at least spell his name right.

That said, after the mess that was the 3rd movie I'm not even goint to see a new one, rebooted or not. I'm just about done with comic book films at this point.

Why did they cancel Spiderman 4? To add insult to injury the Spiderman movies series is getting a re-boot!! And if the rumors are true, the man character (that's right Peter Parker, folks) is going to be played by Robert Patterson; the F**KING homosexual sparkilng vampire for the dissappointing Twilight Series... All I can say is "DEAR GOD, WHY!!?"

What's wrong with Robert Pattinson as an actor? Just because he played goofy role doesn't mean he sucks. I quite liked him as Cedric Diggory, but of course, nobody remembers THAT era. I don't think he'd suit the role though to be honest.

First off, the way they were going, the next movie would have had a nonexistant plot, a dozen villains, five love triangles, and a total arse-raping of the storyline.

I say they need to do the next one right. The first was great, the second was okay, but the third was horrible imho. Not even Thomas Haden-Church could save that movie.

Well hopefully, it's because Sam Raimi is too busy directing a new Evil Dead, which I heard was possibly in the works. Come on people, Spider-man 4 or Evil Dead 4. I think I know which we'd all choose.

I seriously doubt the reliability of this. Just by looking at him you know Pattinson isn't right for the role. He doesn't have a geeky sort of quality needed for Spider-man, nor is the right build for it.

Also, the studios must know that there would be a massive fan backlash against this, so their probably not even considering it.

I'm guessing the "Pattinson for Spider-man" thing is just tabloid rumours, but if it is true, then it's proof that God hates comic book fans.
