I love them both. Its such a good series. I liked the second one better. And to anyone who beat the first one how do you get by the room with the computers and reproducing droids?
I don't see the point in what your doing. Any point someone makes you just say "I hated that bit! that was easy/boring/over rated".00slash00 said:snip
Because disliking what other people like is cool. Because people who like what others like are "mainstream", and therefore sheep, and therefore have worthless opinions.Aidinthel said:Why are there so many threads about not liking popular games? We get it, your opinions differ from the majority, you really don't have to make a big deal about it, people. I personally wasn't too fond of Bioshock, but I just accepted that it wasn't for me and moved on with my life. Making this sort of thread is not the sort of thing a reasonable, well-balanced individual should feel the need to do.
Good writing? Okay, most of it was competent. Some of it was awful. Very little was actually good - at least I don't think so. I laughed all the way through the scene whereEnkidu88 said:I've always been a sucker for good writing and stories, and KOTOR is almost unparalleled in that area (and only other bioware games seem to come close).
I guess I already knew that; I just needed to vent a bit. This sort of arrogance really gets under my skin. On a related note, you have no idea how grateful I am that I didn't get a "OMG you didn't like Bioshock?!?!?" response.SonicWaffle said:Because disliking what other people like is cool. I think KOTOR 2 is better than the first, how is that trolling exactly?Vincent33 said:But saying that you think KOTOR 2 is better, it's just plain trollin'.
This so hard. I am so sick of these threads.Grey_Focks said:What I got from the OP-
"I have an opinion different from most of you! LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!"
Don't be offended, I think the exact same thing every time I see a thread like this where "I dislike popular game X" or "Game Y is horribly overrated"
Know what? I don't care. You just want attention, and by posting in your thread I've already given too much to you.
I find that asking people who have played a particular game is often a more useful source of information. they are generally more honest and passionate about it than your average video game reviewer...though if i had known i would have been called a troll so many times for asking this question, i probably would have rethought my decision to post this (though i can see why they would think i was just trying to spark debate. the question should have been worded better)TcheQ said:Meh anyway, as others have stated, if you want to know why it was so good, go read an actual review published in 2003 or whatever. It's not like google suddenly stopped existing and this forum is the only beacon of knowledge left in existence.
