Can't say SE doing this surprises me. Game companies seem to want to track just about every aspect of their consumer's play habits these days. From a marketing standpoint it makes sense, although it does still kind of creep me out.
On a side note, I watched the scene (hooray for Youtube) and they're getting REALLY good at making curved textures in games, aren't they?

Wait? Square Enix decided to "embarrass" Japanese fans by revealing how much time they spent perving on the naked CGI shower scene? Ummm really? Are they at all familiar with their target audience? I can't see any typical Japanese Square Enix fan actually being embarrassed by this? Now if they revealed the amount of them spanking to furry porn in a Kingdom Hearts game, then you may have something. But even then it's not what you would call a sure bet.

o...kay, why are they bothering to keep track of this? Then again, Square was dumb enough to basically make this game nothing more than tasteless objectification. And that's before I get into its braindead plot (which I should've expected considering it was written by FFXIII's writer)
