I have already given up and didn't care about FF anymore since the failure of FFXIII and FFXIV.

Final Fantasy Type-What-Now?

This is news to me. Is this a new game or is this a branch-off of one of the current games? (I heard FF13 had two sequels coming out. Versus13 and... Another one. Is this the other one?)

Edit:
Turns out it's one of the sequels to 13. Cool. Hope it's better than its predecessor. HA-CHA!

Whoa, hang on a second. The trailer is.. awesome?!

Seriously. The art style and gameplay look great. I'm actually getting excited for a new Final Fantasy game. Please don't fuck this up, Square-Enix.
Are you talking about that trailer that played Requiem for a Dream and tried to rip off Killzone by placing a bunch of unsubtle Nazi crap in the background?

And if they can't make a good sequel to a 13-year old game, they sure as hell can't make a good one to a one year old one.

Sorry if I sound sore around the posterior, butt I feel very mad about 3 sequels to the giant meh that was FF XIII.

Still, I'll try to save the rest of my rear agony for when the game comes out. Until then, I on the fence like Wiz Khalifa is on Black and Yellow.

Also, it's a good looking website, to Square's credit.
Not a sequel. None of them are. Final Fantasy XIII is a stand-alone game. The ONLY sequel it will have is XIII-2.

Versus XIII and "Agito XIII" (now known as Type-0) are both stand-alone games. The ONLY comparison they have with FFXIII is the lore. The fal'Cie and such exist, but in a very different format. Certain terms and titles are similar. Not the same planet/towns/regions.

It's like how the old retro Final Fantasy games had callbacks/references to other games. VI and XII have Espers, but they're set in entirely different universes.

It's really not THAT hard to understand that it isn't a direct sequel, and merely features similar lore and references..
Meh. Same diff. I have faith these games might have some quality, but will all most likely sell on name alone, considering that all have the XIII tag. Seriously, they could've just spun them off Tactics style, considering the fact that none of those asides XIII-2 are really going to have the same combat system or story.
