I choose Scorpion's kunai on a chain. It's such a simple concept, yet so deadly.
do you shout "GET OVER HERE!" cause if so, then you are a good role model, sir.
Hell, I don't even think about it anymore. It just happens. When I desire someone to come to me, I say, subconciously in Scorpion's rage filled voice, "Get over here!".
So to answer you question, yes, good sir. There will be "Get over here!"... there will be much "Get over here!"...

Theres a chapter of Schola St George nearby, so what I've learned mostly comes from Fiore dei Liberi's texts. Also I have learned some inayan escrima and jujitsu as well. I think whats most important is to learn a wide variety of different systems, its cool to see where their intersections are and it gives you more of an opportunity to develop your own style.

Edit: Oh! And favorite weapon, forgot that. I love my kukri dearly. Cuts like a boss
kukri are indeed, a badass weapon. i ranted in a skyrim thread that they need to be involved somehow, though i think they'd be more axe than sword

I'd love to say 'Katana' and what ever the Ninja word is for '101 ways to fuck a guy up with a Katana', but I'm not that awesome.

In a real life situation I'd put my excellent Archery skills to good use. Now THAT I am good at. Longbow, Crossbow, Re-curve, even throwing knives. No matter how long your Bastard Sword is... you wont get close enough.

hmmm favorite melee weapon. im gonna say Asagi. its an African weapon which is pretty much a light 3 foot sword on a 4.5 foot pole. my style with it is icanrunfasterbackwordthanyoucanchasemeandnowihityou-jitsu.

if i have to use a sword, than a saber apply the same method.

i don't like being close to combatants when im fighting.

I've been proven to be quite deadly with both yari, naginata and nagamaki, but if none of those are available I will do quite nicely with a double-edged glaive.

Probably some form of bladed gauntlets - I only know how to fight with my fists and also for the look on a persons face when you grab their sword. Something small and fast like daggers or epees would give you much trouble though.

It's impractical as all hell, but motherFUCK, does it look cool when you get adequate at using one.

Dane axe, viking sword & shield or a pole-hammer. I'm not much for stabbing. Slash, cut, crush!

Heehee, you'll be looking for something like this then?

Backhanding someone never feels the same if you 'slap' someone wearing those.

Something of an bladed arm-shark weapon.

Oh, you'll go down all right, but at least you'll look cool doing so...

Something exactly like that =D

Although, if I had to make it i'd probably have some kind of plating along the forearm and palm - maybe chainmail over the fingers to keep flexibility. And I'd go in for just some inch-long spikes on the knuckles. Grab the sword with both hands, free up the nearest hand to them and them punch away.

Actually, you can do all that with them as they are. It's obscured, but the piece that joins the four claws are the finger rings (like for knuckle-dusters) so your digits can flex fine. So punching with them on makes more sense than backhanding, to be fair.

I have only one fighting style. It's called kickinthenutsandrun-fu. It's like kung fu, but only has one move. It has no room for weapons any other than boots.
This post deserves honorable mention for awesomeness.

Anyway, for me it could only be a rusty iron cutlass.
I like to go for the duck-under-their-swing-and-go-for-the-killing-thrust approach.
*stab stab* indeed.
