"It's doing just fine. I can't run or even walk to well, but it holds up if I don't put to much weight on it." James replied.

"I think some of the nerves are messed up though. I'll try to move a muscle sometimes and it just won't respond. It's called URMD, and it's suppose to go away after awhile. Other than that it's doing ok. By the way, I heard through the grape vine that you were once in Special Operations or something. Care to elaborate?" He then asked, wanting to know more about Gabriel's 'past'.

"Yes, indeed I was James. In fact, the majority of my military career was spent in the Special Forces/Operations division; Spectre team. Our work was often behind the scenes, performing missions that would benefit a larger, more standard army in some way, give them some kind of advantage; even though they wouldn't realise it." Gabriel remarked as he made another glance at the terminal screen as he was passing through the secondary firewalls en-route to the information data banks.

"We did anything from ambushes, hit-and-run attacks, extraction of information or a target; and even in some rare cases, demolitions work; essentially anything that required us to be covert in our movements. The people I worked with for many years, I treated them like family, there were thirteen of us, each specialising in some kind of skillset. Mine is of course sniping, infiltration, and hacking. I also acted as the sub-commander of the team on occasions."

"Unfortunately, there was an incident were several of the team were killed; and we were retired from active duty. Fortunately for many that survived, they was able to find work within the intelligence sector, some even became trainers for the next generation of special forces units. " His words sounded more happy after the sadness that came from the incident.

"As for me, I didn't want to be stuck with some crumby desk job; so I packed my things, and became a mercenary." Gabriel said with a smile, as he managed to gain access to the system, but suddenly a warning light came up. After making adjustments, he went over to the security feed.

"Well done, Commander. Yes, I would ask you to offer me something in return. I know what it is you want, but what can you do for me?"

"I could start by not tearing you apart for compromising us."

"Oh come now, just because I know who you are does not mean that I cannot keep a secret. They just cost extra."

"Fine then." said Lime. "What do you want in exchange for information regarding the Star Brigade's location, and your assurance that you will not expose our presence here?"

"Follow me, Lime."

"Oh no you don't." Gabriel said to himself with a determined look in his cybernetic eyes, as he began to hack the room from where the security feed was coming from. He also began to come up with a plan of action whilst looking through the schematics of the Broadsword, and a devilish grin appeared on his face when he found what he was looking for.

"James, play along with what I'm about to do okay. I have an idea that might just save Lime." He said, before activating the intercom that was situated in the room.

*In The Owner's Office*

"I wouldn't do that if I were you... Franklin." Gabriel said in a clear voice.

Muo was utterly oblivious to the issues facing the rest of the team, as the biggest issue facing him right now was how to best toss a human across a ring. It was moments like this that reminded him why he truly loved his job. He settled on throwing the human at a schrier who was making a effort to get up again. The creature was determined, he would give it that, but this proved to be too much, and at last, he was the only sentient still standing.

The fight was hardly legal, mixing weight class, expertise and numbers. But out here in deep space, no one was likely to stop them, and the crowd seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it. As soon as the the fight was over, the wounded were ushered off, while he was permitted to stay on as the victor. Three other contestants were ushered in, all three victors of earlier fights. The first was a lithe schrier, a hulking human, and another Ferrax, standing just a few centimeters shorter than Muo. The four of them took up positions across from each other, and at word, all four of them rushed at each other, shouting and roaring.

The Owner stopped dead at the sound of Gabriel's voice. If Lime had had a mouth he would have smirked. The shifty eyed businessman had gone pale. "How do you know my name?"

"I think you'll find that we know a lot of things, Franklin." said Lime. "My friend here just hacked your, what did you call it, impenetrable system? I think you've got bigger things to worry about than making me your work dog for a day."

Franklin wiped panicky sweat from his brow. The man was shaking violently. "What is it that you want?"

[hr]
Tom was at the poker table. Some games just never went out of style, and cards was one of them. Across from him was one Garret Darkine, a massive lump of scars, fat and scowls. According to the dossier Demexin had forwarded to him, Garret was in deep with the Colonial Opposition League, being one of their primary suppliers. If the league wanted to fence something on the black market, he was their man.

And Tom was steadily cleaning him out of chips and amassing a sizable pile of his own, much to Garret's chagrin. Though he kept a calm, expressionless face, inside, Tom was shaking violently. This guy could easily kill him if he had the chance. Tom was keeping him agitated, trying to push him into making a mistake he could use. He was toeing an ever narrowing line.

Garret's fist slammed onto the table, the usual response he had after losing a hand. "That's it," he declared. He jammed a meaty hand into his coat pocket, throwing a transponder onto the table. "That is my ride. It's now in the pot."

Oh, he was desperate now, thought Tom. But still, his ship would be an interesting asset. It could even help them if they ever pinpointed the ship. Garret pushed all his chips and the transponder forward. "I'm all in. Take it or leave it pinprick."

Tom obliged. The cards were flipped. Tom walked away from the table clutching the keys to a new ride, and Garret was dragged away with security wrestling a gun from his hands.

"Dex, I couldn't get any info off of Garret, he's kind of busy right now. What I did get was his ship. If we could put the transmitter into Rivers' shuttle, we could get access to League bases without them noticing until we're right on top of them."

"Or," said Demexin. "We could just use his ship and land before they blow us up in visual range."

"That works too."

"What is it that you want?" Franklin asked over the intercom, and judging by his actions over the security cameras, he was visibly shaking. Despite the dark sounding nature of his words, Gabriel was somewhat enjoying this moment of making a man squirm.

"The answer to that question is quiet simple actually Franklin. All it is are a few requests, compliance with them would unsure your business continues, for the time being. And in no particular order they are, any information regarding the location of Star Brigade, the release of Commander Lime into our hands, and finally we are allowed to leave the Broadsword without anyone knowing we were here." As Gabriel spoke, he had a rather wicked grin on his face. He then went quiet for a moment, but in actuality, was talking to James.

"James, once I've finished talking, that is your cue to play along with my game." Gabriel then returned to Franklin.

"Apologies for that Franklin, just had to ask something. Now where was I... oh yes I remember. Should you fail to comply, something terrible will happen." Gabriel then connected James to the intercom.

"Tell me James, given your experience as an engineer, and your knowledge of engine systems, how long do you think it would take for you to rig the engines of the Broadsword to explode?"

James smiled at Gabriel's bluff. He's clever, I'll give him that. "Why, not that long at all." he said over the intercom. He brought up the ships specs as he spoke, figuring that him having insight into the workings of the ship might freak the Owner out somewhat. "After all," James continued. "these anti-matter engines are notoriously unstable. A few minutes of tinkering, and the Broadsword is space dust." Now that's a bargaining chip. James thought.

"You wouldn't dare." said Franklin bluntly.

"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that." said Lime. "See, James is just coming off a nasty injury that these League types caused him. And he's got control of your ship, which conveniently happens to have a number of COL members on board. He could snap at any time."

Playing James, the pacifist, up as a bloodthirsty killer, thought Lime. I think I like this bluff.

"Alright, fine. I give up." said Franklin, throwing his hands in the air. "One group of thugs isn't worth losing this establishment. I picked up a couple contacts when I tagged the COL guys coming aboard. They said something about the planetary rings around Jundas. A base on one of the asteroids."

Lime's comm clicked. It was Demexin. "I can confirm that. Tom here seems to have come into possession of one of the League's gun runner's ship. I took the liberty of inspecting the vehicle myself. There are a number of points across Jundas's rings that aren't marked on the System Charts. They must be either drop off and pickup points, or outposts."

Lime shoved a tentacle into Franklin's face. "I think you're holding out on us, Frank. Which one is it?"

"How should I know that?" protested the owner. "The asteroids are just a bunch of numbers and codes."

"Last I checked, you were good with numbers. How else could you run this place? Now, the coordinates and the asteroid number. Now."

Franklin stared hard into Lime's eyeless face. He relinquished. "J-4256 Beta. Now, can you stop trying to blow up my ship?"

Lime was heading for the door. He stopped, but didn't turn around as he spoke. "If your information is correct, we will let you go. If it isn't, we know where you live."

Franklin was speechless. Lime slid the door shut behind him, leaving the Owner in a stupor. "Did I just get blackmailed on my own ship?"

"Thank you for your co-operation Franklin, this information will prove most valuable to us. Everyone, I believe it is time for us to depart." Gabriel remarked in a rather polite manner, then his voice disappeared. He then wiped all presence of there ever being a hack attempt on board this ship. The satisfaction of this information objective being accomplished brought a smile to his face. After making sure he left no trace, he began to contact people on their personal comm links; first up was James.

"Nice work James, you really pulled through there."

"Demexin, mission accomplished, inform Tom and Muo that we have what we came for, and are pulling out."

Gabriel then made his way out of the dance room, and proceeded back towards the Corona 1.

North Hand, Solanic Union Naval Base

The Pious King was docked at Station 32, orbiting North Hand. If Iron Tomb had been a grey wasteland, North Hand was it's soot covered brother. Dozens of ships were traveling in an out of the stations on an hourly basis. Right now, Captain Vance was waiting on one in particular.

Captain Murray entered the room, offering Vance a cup of coffee. "I just received word from the Station Control. Your crew additions will be here in ten minutes."

Vance took the coffee and had a long sip. "Thank you, Murray. The sooner this is all over, the better. This ship is yours, and I've been away from mine for too long. It's only been two weeks, but it's felt like years."

Murray laughed. "Well, it might seem that way, but things will work out. And maybe next time we meet, we won't be at each others throats."

"I still don't know why they wouldn't inform me about a transfer. Why would they go over my head like that?"

"I don't know Vance, but sooner or later, Bergmann is going to be heading out to the Frontier. They need people like him out there."

vance sighed, and took another long sip. "We will deal with it when the time comes. I should go. Shouldn't keep the recruits waiting."

Vance headed for the hangar. The expected shuttle was just settling down on its landing struts as he arrived. The hiss of hydraulics and servomotors filled Vance's ears as the loading ramp lowered. The relief crew was here at last.

Most of them were just new teams sent in for their next tours, but a couple were specialists that Vance had requested personally during their time at New Terra. In particular was a trio at the head of the group. But there was a fourth that he wasn't expecting.

He was dead. Vance had seen his body in the medbay. They had him returned to his homeworld for a proper burial. And yet, the Schrier Kroaansokun-Thea was there, staring at Vance, very much alive. Vance tried to cover the shock he was experiencing, with little success. But this would have to wait. He needed to address the crew.

"Welcome aboard the Pious King. I am Captain Thomas Vance of the Diplomatic Corps vessel Star Brigade. You may be wondering why we are meeting here, rather than on the ship. Well, there is a reason for that. I'll be blunt: the Star Brigade has been stolen by the Colonial Opposition League. It is our duty to get it back.

Our other operatives have been tracking down leads that may bring us closer to finding our missing ship. I must stress how important it is that we retrieve the Star Brigade. She houses an experimental Faster Than Light drive that allows her to travel without the use of conventional Jump Gates. In the hands of a terrorist organization, this could become a devastating weapon, striking without warning and disappearing just as fast. To make matters worse, the ship was taken following the installation of new armaments.

The ship has teeth, it has legs, and it is missing. So we're going to get it back. Captain Murray has been in talks with the Scalrey System Patrol forces. They will be standing by to aid the Pious King in our search. Until such time as we get the ship back, you are to be assigned to your duties aboard this vessel. Is this understood?"

"Yes Sir!" chanted the recruits. Vance nodded in approval.

"Dismissed. Operatives Kroaansokun-Thea, Attatroslia, Circe Chung, and Grendar, stay here. The rest of you, get a move on."

The other recruits dispersed, leaving Vance with the quartet. He clasped his hands behind his back and walked up and down the line of operatives. A chaplain, a computer tech, a student and a gunner. "Welcome to the team. I expect great things from my specialists. Anything you can contribute to the mission will be appreciated and used to its fullest extent."

He stopped in front of Kroaansokun-Thea. "I thought you were dead. Cloning, perhaps? You can tell me later. However, if you did manage to just pull yourself from the grave, then that would be a handy skill to share."

"Circe Chung. I've heard a lot about you. Our chief engineer had the new armaments installed to the precise specifications. He's a bit of a perfectionist. I'm sure you will find their assembly satisfactory."

"Grendar. I've never been much of a spiritual man myself. However, I appreciate the canopy council's gesture by placing you under my command."

"Attatroslia, may I call you Alia? I think you will find working alongside our student Kalade and our AI system an interesting experience. Your translating skills will definitely be of use to us."

"There is very little else I can tell you right now, troops. We are awaiting orders to depart with a flotilla of patrol ships. Until then, sit tight." Vance's communicator started to beep. He checked the screen. "Or, don't sit tight. We just received confirmation of the ship's whereabouts. Follow me to the bridge."

Demexin left Garret's cockpit and walked into the living quarters where the rest of the team waited. Muo had some new scars, and a number of medals hanging from his neck. He'd drawn quite a crowd at the rings, and Lime had pretty much needed to drag him away from the competition. The others looked up expectantly when Dex walked in.

"I sent the communique to the Pious King. The flotilla is ready and standing by to assist. We have two ships here, this one, and Rivers' shuttle. I say that we put the shuttle in this ship's docking bay, and approach the asteroid undercover."

"So, we cover our signature by using this ship, pretending to be on a shipment run?" said Rivers. "What if they aren't expecting any supplies? Won't they be suspicious?"

"The League is always suspicious, Rivers." said Tom. "Besides, it doesn't matter. All that we need to do is get close enough to them to drop your shuttle low enough. Then we can bust our way in and take back the ship."

"There is the problem of other ships Tom." pointed out Dex. "Whatever we do, we will need to do it fast. There are at least six other asteroid bases around Jundas, and however many more COL ships decide to drop into orbit while we are there. The Flotilla with Vance and the new crewmembers will be coming as quickly as they can, but we could have a major fight on our hands."

"So, any suggestions on how we should divvie up the team then?" asked Rivers.

Grendar followed Captain Vance, absorbing all of the information that had been presented. His cane clicked rhythmically as they walked. Grendar smelled the coffee in Vance's hand, it was the bitter, stout coffee served at all Naval bases. You could dip an ink pen in a mug of the stuff and use it to write.

"Captain Vance, perhaps you aren't spiritual," Grendar said with a wry smile, "but I hope you'll stop by for a decent cup of coffee."

Though he rarely drank it, Grendar had learned how to make excellent coffee. Not to mention that it was a draw for crew members who would otherwise never think to seek spiritual council.

"Oh, and feel free to call me 'grandpa'. That tends to be my nickname wherever I go." Grendar chuckled as he spoke. He was going to like it here, he could tell.

Circe nodded as she followed along behind the captain. She was also trying her best to follow what he was saying. She was near constantly distracted looking every way at once, after all this was the first time she had ever been on such a large ship; in fact it was only a short while ago that she had gone through her first jump gate. Circe was just so full of new experiences it was a bit overwhelming.

Still, Circe did what she could to focus on Captain Thomas Vance. She felt a moment of pride when he mentioned that he had heard of her, it seemed a slight honer in her mind, not one that she was expecting.

"I'll do whatever I can sir." She responded cheerfully in what she hoped was a professional manor. "Though I'm sure the Pious King has it's own ordinance officer so I don't think I'll be able to do much." Circe ended with just a touch of sorrow. She had been hoping to make a good first impression, but that didn't seem too likely now.

"Alright then, Grandpa. Interesting that you like Human slang. I'll take a cup later. Right now we've got to get a move on. As for you, Circe, stay sharp. Murray runs a tight crew, but the man know when to take advice. And considering what we might be getting ourselves into, I'd like it if you stay nearby."

They took the central turbolift, arriving at the bridge moments later. Murray was waiting for them by the communications terminal. He passed a datapad to Vance as they approached. "We picked up a transmission from your team's Shuttle. They've given us the coordinates of a number of potential bases that the League has in Jundas's planetary rings. They're going to move in first and ID the base housing your lost ship, and they want us nearby."

Vance looked over the pad. It was Demexin's handiwork. "If we jump into Jundas's orbit too early it could tip off the League. We have to time this right, or we could blow their position and end up triggering an alarm. I don't want to lose any more team members, Captain."

"I know Vance, but I don't see much room for options here." said Murray. "There is an encryption on the communication as well, but so far E.R.I.S hasn't been able to crack it. It looks homemade and it isn't showing up on our code files."

"Let me take a look at it." Murray stepped aside to let Vance view the monitor. Yes, this was familiar, but tricky. It was definitely something Demexin would do. He recognized the patterns, but recognizing a pattern wasn't the same as cracking it. "Hmmm, Alia, you have experience with computers and communication. My Chief Engineer is an Astrid also. Do you recognize this encryption pattern? Do you think you could break it?

Attatroslia stared at Captain Vance for a few moments after his words, wondering why it was that the other species insisted on giving nicknames to members of her species. She understood that their names were difficult for their tongues, but the same was true in the reverse and yet the Astrid (generally) did not assign nicknames in return. The strangest part however was their universal translators should have made them effectively able to say their names, by just assigning a more common human name to the program in relation to the more common Astrid names. The feature to do it existed - she had implemented it in the universal translator program herself several versions ago. She continued following this train of thought, until she was drawn from it by their Captains words.

"Hmmm, Alia, you have experience with computers and communication. My Chief Engineer is an Astrid also. Do you recognize this encryption pattern? Do you think you could break it?"

Bending down, Attatroslia read the patterns on the screen. After a few seconds, she spoke up, her voice slightly raspy from lack of use. "Hm... looks like a type of asymmetric encryption... written in Delphia... shouldn't be too hard to crack." she said, interfacing her portable with the other. It took a few minutes before the computers could 'speak' to each other, but once that was done, the process was much easier. Activating some of her decryption software, she was able to translate the encryption into a more readable format, enabling her (and any of the on-lookers) to understand the code.

Once the interfacing was complete, and the computer was displaying the information, Attatroslia sat down cross-legged, and began deciphering the data. "Yes, definitely Delphia. Give me a few seconds..." she said, letting the statement hang, until the offending screen turned bright green. "There, that should be much better."

The encryption cracked, the text faded away, now featuring an image of Demexin himself, in all his burn covered glory. He seemed surprised, but didn't let it get in the way of his perpetual irritability. "Hmph, I thought it would take longer than that for you to crack the code. Sorry Captain, but it was just a precaution. If the League somehow managed to trace the message, then I expect they would have taken it at face value.

"So here's the rundown. Those coordinates? Faked. Just in case. I've got the real ones right now. Since we've got this link established, I can just tell you straight up. J-4256 Beta seems to be our best bet for the ship's location. Right now we're coordinating our attack plan. We've got two ships right now, and we could use some input."

The Captain took a few moments to take in Demexin's words before replying.

"We can't risk firing on the Star Brigade except as a last resort... aside from the hostages, we can't afford to damage any of the rare tech on the ship. I say we both try to board it at the same time, perhaps after disabling some external weaponry, sending all our corps trained specifically in combat from either side, hit them before they have time to react. Any problems you can see in that plan?"

He turned to address the new recruits behind him.

"Anyone-else got anything to add?"

~

Far across the emptiness of space, Dr Nate Harris awoke with a start to find himself in darkness, surrounded by metal walls. The Star Brigade's resident doctor sleepily groped around his surroundings until his hands found something small but soft besides him and suddenly it all came back to him. The surprise attack by the C.O.L upon his ship, fleeing the infirmary with his young patient to the storerooms, hiding in a ventilation shaft while men shouted and searched below. Having made a life-long habit of never wearing a watch, Nate had no idea how much time had passed while he slept but all had fallen quiet beneath him so he hesitantly crawled forwards and peered through the grill. To the doctor's relief aside from a few overturned crates the room was deserted.

He turned back to Ayesha, Najeed's sister, who was curled up next to where he had been a few moments earlier. The doctor had to smile at how innocent the four year old looked as she slept; tufts of wispy black hair matted over her tiny face, a slight frown visible through the chaotic fluff. She'd recovered remarkably quickly from the gryale virus considering how grim the prognosis had looked just a week beforehand, even so a small gap between her t-shirt and shorts revealed the steep price paid for this success: her golden brown skin patched with metallic silver. In the distant past multiple organ failure had almost invariably been fatal but in this modern age synthetic organs were almost as good as the genuine articles, even so Nate's task had been highly experimental and there were times when he thought his spur of the moment alterations wouldn't work. Thankfully his contacts had been reliable and everything had gone to plan, of course he couldn't risk another doctor inspecting his handiwork though, hence why he'd requested that his patient be brought back to the ship for a check-up. Of all the times for the ship to be hijacked, it had just happened to be when she was aboard... if Nate hadn't known better he would have called it destiny. He gently put a hand on Ayesha's shoulder and shook her awake.

"Shhhhh, come on sweetie, I bet you're hungry!"

Muo returned, slightly worse for wear, to his corner while the medics removed one badly beaten human from the ring. Waiting for the mess to be cleaned up, he found his communicator buzzing frantically, bearing the message: Mission Complete. "Guess I'll finish this quickly then" he grunted as he stepped back into the ring, no need to leave before he finished this fight.

Somewhat later, he limped back towards the landing bay, rather more sore than he had been an hour ago, but also a degree wealthier than he had been before the fight started. Not a bad trade in his opinion, and soon enough he was at the transport, ready to leave the Broadsword behind, and resume the hunt for the Star Brigade.

Circe was silent as the codded communique played. Well at least the ship was found, that had seemed like it might be the trickiest part of the equation to her. She lightly bit her lip as she tried to think up something that could be helpful to the others.

The major problem was that Circe's training had been in how to protect the ship, not attack it. Then Circe had a thought. Sure she was trained to operate the ship, but then all she had to do was turn that thinking upside down.

"Well sir." She entered the conversation a little hesitantly, "The ships cannons aren't designed for fast tracking at close range. If we can get the ships near each other then the Star Brigade's firepower will be somewhat hampered."

Then another idea came up. "Also, the weapon systems are brand new. I can't be sure what they've been up to, but it's possible that the targeting systems may not be fully calibrated yet." Circe had been thinking about the process before she heard that the ship had been captured. A direct fire weapon like a particle cannon would only be as good as the sights that you used to aim it with; or the computer and sensors in this case; and simulations could only take you so far.

With her part said Circe once again faded into silence, waiting to see if she had been any help.

Gabriel listened to the planning that was being made to help retake the Star Brigade that lurked somewhere in an asteroid field, and in the hands of the Colonial Opposition League. His thoughts were with all those who were effectively trapped on board; but one stuck out in particular.

"Don't worry Ruth, I am coming." He said quietly to himself as Gabriel made his own contribution to the planning effort.

"Chances are that they have done something with L.I.S.A, I would suggest we send a small team to retake the A.I control room and get her back online and functioning so she can assist us with the task at hand; seeing as though she has eyes and ears everywhere, she may know where the leader is. Also, if you think that there is anything I may be good at, don't hesitate to say."

"Agreed." James said, nodding his head. He had since changed back into his jacket and jeans. "Assuming Kalade is still alive, we'll have to make it a priority to get her in a position to reactivate L.I.S.A." In the back of his mind, James recognized that Kalade may very well be dead. Without her codes and knowledge of the ship's A.I, their mission would become much more complicated. Beyond that, James knew that he would barely be able to stand the death of any more of his fellow crew mates, including Kalade.

Shaking these thoughts away, James spoke up again. "Of course, there's still the matter of getting into the ship in the first place." The COL were crazy, but they weren't stupid, and James didn't doubt that the ship was under strict security. "I don't think we'll be able to walk in through the front door, and the hanger is probably locked down." Every obvious entrance would be sealed. Thankfully, not every entrance to the Star Brigade was obvious. "We might have to enter through an exterior hatch. If the ship is docked on the outside of the facility, this'll mean a space walk. Unless, of course, you guys have another idea."

Captain Vance took a moment to consider the suggestions that had been put to him, then abruptly stood up and slammed his fist down on the command board. A slight smile could briefly be seen playing across his lips.

"Oh right, we have a plan corps! Using Circe's idea, the Pious King will spiral around the Star Brigade to reach docking distance whilst avoiding giving the ship's cannons a chance to lock on. Once we are close to our target, the Nova 4 craft will exit the King and containing Demexin's team, will then attempt to gain entry via a lesser used port on the back of the ship. To distract the C.O.L on-board, me and the new recruits here will then dock the King at the main entrance and try to make progress that way. Once the team in the Nova get into the ship, they'll then head to A.I control room and reactivate Lisa. If they can get her back online, then she can open the main entrance for us and cause chaos for the remaining hijackers at the same time!"

The Captain had to take a deep breath after the long monologue reached it's pitch, in a more moderated tone he addressed the crew.

"Demexin, and anyone-else for that matter, can you see any glaring holes in my plan?"

'Alia' had, after Demexin's appearance on the screen tried to remain unnoticed, trying to remain hidden behind despite her size. She double and triple checked her glove to ensure the black-green crystal remained hidden. The last thing she needed was to have a member of the crew looking at her with fear, disgust, and pity. Being the only other Astrid among the group she had thus far seen, she could only hope to remain off his radar for as long as possible. However, regardless of her desire to remain unnoticed, she felt that commenting on the plan - particularly the flaws - was of even greater importance.

"We'll need to keep communications between the groups to a minimum to prevent the infiltration team from being noticed to quickly. I might be able to attack the ships sensor array; allow them to remain undetected for a bit longer, maybe even regain some rudimentary control to give the main team a chance against the ships automated security. Does anyone in the other group know how to reactivate L.I.S.A?" She said, adding her question at the end to make sure their plan was feasible.

After saying it, and feeling the stares upon her, particularly Demexin's, Alia retreated slightly, awaiting a response from anyone.
