Star Craft II- Is there anyone who will not be getting this game?

I have to ask why you hate Blizzard? While it is true I burned out on WoW I still like the company.

oh its nothing as simple as "they made wow HATE hateadathat" I was offered a job with them and after dropping classes and such I went in for training only to find that I didnt have a job and no one called me and since I went there I heard I was black listed from them so Im still a bit pissed about that and as such will never give them money and will repeat this story at any opportunity

Wow, I only just noticed the other day that they have a release date. With Blizzard I tend to check in every once and a awhile as they take the time to polish their games.

I am so excited! I intentionally did not try to get into the beta because I have found that they tend to burn me out. So nice to have some big PC releases coming. Star Craft- Wings of Liberty in about a month and just one month later Elemental! I have been waiting for both of these games for some time.

Is there anyone who will not be getting Starcraft?

My friend and I plan on Zerg Rushing our Best Buy the day it comes out. Will be very fun.

I probably won't be. I SUCK at strategy games. I love them, but it always turns out that about 3 hours in I quit because I can't win against the computer on easy difficulty, so it would be wise not to waste 50 bucks on Starcraft.

Only Blizzard RTS I enjoyed was Warcraft II. No Starcraft for me.

Fair enough. I used to like multi-player shooters but I burned out on them in College. To each their own.

And that's why I think it really sucks that they never finished StarCraft: Ghost - I would probably enjoy playing that. The setting of StarCraft is really cool, it's just that I suck at playing it and therefore don't enjoy it.

To anyone that says they suck at RTS, Starcraft 2 is fairly effective with pairing you with players at your skill level. So you won't get insta-raped =D

On topic, I'm obviously getting it, although I wish Blizzard would improve on B.net 2.0 since the current state of it is inferior to Starcraft's B.net or Warcraft 3's B.net.

Honestly, the beta alone is one of my favorite games of the year so far. Soooo much fun.

This guy, this guy right here knows what it's all about.

I really like the new battle.net - sure, it leaves out some huge features (LAN, adding friends without giving out your e-mail) but I can still play with my close friends and now I can also find math-ups with people that won't steamroll me. It's a hell of a fun game, really gets the neurons firing.

Despite my love for RTS games, I will not. I must admit, I do not care enough for this. Maybe if I get a good gaming computer, and maybe after I have extra funds after The Old Republic, I will consider it.

I can understand the hatred of Blizzard but "it doesn't look good"? What promos have you been watching? I've seen some of the tournaments and this just blows the original away. Hope they have a decent single player campaign.

it looks like starcraft and I didnt like starcraft, I didnt like how it played at all and I love rts games so thats saying something, even back when I really liked blizz I didnt like it, besides Ive gotten tired of the rts games that just do the massive horde of things, Ive been spoiled by the likes of company of heroes

I will not be getting Starcraft. I'm broke enough as it is, and then there's Okamiden and the new Zelda and I'm trying to fix my computer, not to mention college and the fact that I don't have a copy of Windows to play Starcraft on anyway. If I actually owned money, then probably yes.

Me...not that I could play it anyway, tho, but my interest in Starcraft was small at least<.<
The first one was fun...for a while. After all I don´t play multiplayer in RTSes.
And to me, SC2 is a PURELY multiplayer game that can apease Koreans for 19 hours a day but falls flat on the singleplayer part.
Also, for a sequel...it took too long. Now I simply don´t care anymore.
