Please, it wasn't that bad. I actually liked it. I laughed a few times. I just don't see-

More info: Apparently everything that happens in it is canon. Canon people!

"None of this is making fun of Star Wars, but more jsut thinking about what the Star Wars version of life is like... George gave us authority that 'whatever you make up in this show is canon. The fans can deal with it.'"
You are trolling, right? RIGHT?

Nope. From the mouth of Seth Green.

Wow.... it manages to make the original trilogy pretty entertaining. /applaud

Yeah it smacks of the robot chicken/family guy spoofs, but I dunno... from the tiny bit seen It just seems funnier with more heart.

Though I did think it was odd to not notice (might have been there, simply didnt see it) an incarnation of Luke. I mean if you were going to ditch an original char I would have voted for Solo, which personally is the single most hated char in all of fiction.

Eh. This looks amusing enough. I don't really care. At the same time, I'm not surprised that everyone's overreacting- Star Wars nerds freak the fuck out over everything.

Either he or George are pulling our legs. This is obviously non-canon, some of it simply couldn't have happened.

Not interested, but won't act like it's the greatest crime humanity has yet committed, either; if you don't like it, don't watch it.

And for god's sake, stop talking about canon. Please try to at least consider how tragic it is that whether or not what "really" happened or didn't happen in a fictional setting legitimately bothers you. Please.

About the only bit I found funny was admiral Ackbar struggling to find the right way to say it's a trap.

It was kinda funny. I especially liked the bit where they pretty much described Queen Amadala's character. :p

I personally thinks it looks reasonable, it may not be comedy genius but it looks like it has some good jokes

Why don't they just get the Robot Chicken guys to do another episode? Much less work (on their part), much funnier result :)
Age issue, I would guess? All of the jokes in this were things that you could show to a 12-year old, whereas Robot Chicken leans pretty heavily on adult material.
True, didn't think of that. It's obviously targeting a younger crowd, not just because of the tone and style of animation but because (and I hope this doesn't make me sound overly cynical) the Internet has pretty much exhausted Star Wars spoofs for the rest of us. I don't imagine there's a whole lot left to do in that area unless you assume the people watching it are entirely new to the concept.
