Very nice, although the minigun scene was a little much. I wonder if they chose to go with the "right after Ep3" setting because its easier to find people who have clone trooper cosplay. They evidently have a lot of love for the Clone Wars era, I liked all the little ways they humanized the clones.
Pfft. I am sorry but I couldn't take that opening fight scene with Darth Vader seriously when all he did was just wave his blade around.
I mean I know that the armor he wears actually hampers his movements, but still....its a wonder how Luke lost the first time in Empire Strikes Back.

The plot is pretty iffy, but the effects are fantastic, and the actor playing Palpatine is spot-on- the voice, the mannerisms, everything.
The first minute is good, even if its just a remake of that Vader vs Rebels scene from Rogue One. But the acting is...well...fan acting. There's a reason they're just fans, and not actors in Star Wars after all...Adam Jensen said:

I think most people can agree that The Last Jedi was not a normal Star Wars movie. I think that's great. Rehashing is terrible. But fans like Force Awakens more becuase its the exact same movie they liked. But I hated it.
I watch this fan made series if someone displays how this is different from normal Star Wars

The Force Awakens sucks because it's "literally A New Hope all over again!", and The Last Jedi sucked because "That's not Star Wars" and the third is going to suck either from a combination of the first two or a completely new reason- probably something along the lines of it 'oppressing and emasculating ' straight, white male characters.Marik2 said:

It's great in theory. But it didn't work. It was still a terrible movie. One should be able to make an original movie that doesn't suck. The Last Jedi had so many problems with the story, characters, pacing etc. that I can't even wrap my head around all the things it did wrong. I'm not saying Last Jedi was good. I am saying it was better than Force Awakens. Becuase the latter turned me from Star Wars and my friends convinced me back by telling me how Last Jedi wasn't the same.
I didn't hate Force Awakens when it came out, and I still don't because I genuinely like the characters, but it did play it awfully safe and in retrospect I can say quite confidently that it's the worst of the new Star Wars movies and for all it's worth it did a lot of things wrong that would hurt the new trilogy in the long run.trunkage said:
Last Jedi always seemed to me like an attempt to rectify the mistakes of Force Awakens. Not that it didn't make a bunch of them in it's own right but it's still a whole lot better overall and probably stands as my favourite among the new movies. Though there's a chance I'm sleeping on Rogue One, I'd have to see that one again.
That's what I think but I'm not sure if that's the consensus. I'd say it's a lot more popular to pick on Last Jedi but it's questionable how much of that is sincere and how much of it is just the movie being intrumentalized to push a political agenda.Marik2 said:
