"Next time I will remember to bring enough that we might play a few rounds of Pazaak." He joked as the droids began their work, turning of his saber as he spoke.

Six hours later the lines were in place and they were ready to descend. He took hold of one of them and got into the proper position for their use before speaking.

"Thank you for your aid, hopefully the rest of your plan will go as well as what you have done so far." With that he held the right trigger and began his descent. As he descended an unnatural chill took over, which was something he expected delving into something like this. In his experience sith temples had usually had some malevolent energy or other to them, but what was unexpected was the feeling of being judged for something. Usually that feeling had come from those who had come with Lampay, not the building itself. Yet here he was, feeling like he was under the gaze of a master yet again.

Going further he remained silent and tried to focus on everything that was happening. This place held mysteries to it, long forgotten in their specifics yet well remembered in their darkness and dangerous capacity. The very energy of the building as he continued lower thrummed with power and malevolence. It was enough to inspire fear in many, and would have been enough to drive many sith into giving into the almost intoxicating power within, but in Lampay's case curiosity far outweighed it. He wanted to know exactly what brought about this energy, and what he was still being judged for. For once he was somewhat glad to have been trained a Jedi, his training offering enough control over himself that he could block out the power of the outside just enough that he was not being overwhelmed. Though even with his control it was most certainly difficult to adequately focus on his surroundings without to some extent being consumed by him.

Even now he heard screams of pain and shouts of fury, he knew the sounds were coming from inside his own head. Though as the descent continued he came more and more to hope that was the case as the dark power of the force continued to envelope him and threaten to claim him whole.

Thalo was silent, pacing around the entire time until at last the way was opened. He was about to head in first when Lampay went in ahead of him. He shrugged, starting to descend himself. The place was eerie, no doubt about that. But there was something exciting about all of this. He curled his fingers, trying to hold back his giddy thoughts about what he could find. Like Lampay, he felt a disturbance in the force, but nothing that intimidated him. In fact, the existence of such darkness just drew him in deeper.

"Ooooh, I wonder what lovely secrets we can find here..." he muttered to himself, the Dark Side ringing in his ears in a strange, ominous melody. It dug its way into Thalo's mind, and he couldn't help but hum to himself as he took a cursory look around, descending ever deeper into the hole.

One by one the Nine reached the end of the shaft. The darkness was only cut by the pale red lights on the descent lines, just enough to show the door - four thousand years old and still standing tall. It wasn't much to speak of as far as design, a simple sliding door, but the plating was remarkable - the reddish tinge of the Phrik alloy was unmistakable. Obviously Darth Sidious took no chances and spared no expense with this bunker.

The door controls were gone - the remains of them were visible beside it, bisected and melted an age ago, but while the door was closed the damaged controls resulted in a faulty seal. It was the work of a few seconds for any one of the Nine to force it open.

The entryway was a short corridor that seemed just as dark and cold and empty as the moon above. As soon as the last of them had crossed the threshold that changed - a sudden pressure across their bodies as the minimal gravity became Coruscant standard, and vents in the walls began pumping in gas - according to readings a clean nitrogen/oxygen mix. Lights came on, a dim white that suffused the room, setting off the white ceiling, gray walls, and darker gray floors. The decor in this place was like a warship's brig.

"Welllllcooooome too the Paalppppatine..." A discordant, stammering synthesized voice came out of the walls.

"Welllkheeeerm tuuuuu..."

"Primary vocabulator matrix corrupted. Switching to secondary. Welcome to the Emperor Palpatine Museum of Galactic History. You are the first visitors in..." The voice paused. At least the secondary voice sounded normal, if constipated late middle aged Coruscanti politician could be described as normal. "Four thousand three hundred eighty-nine years! Ever since those nice gentlemen and ladies from the Jedi Order. If you'll look to your left you'll see the last remains of the last one to die."

Wedged in a corner was a lightsaber, a delicate instrument that looked as though it was grown instead of crafted. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am the curator of this facility, you may refer to me as Antilles. I must say I am glad to see you, another thousand years and I would have lost my mind."

The door ahead had an intact control panel flashing a green light, the universal indicator that it was sealed but unlocked.

"Please, take off your coats. Suits I should say. Only the best for my Master's guests."

Some might complain that he did not assist with the killing of their defenses. After seeing how ill-equipped they were, not even worthy of the effort of a quick take-over and easily taken down, it was better that the primary objective be met. After Sirus had trashed the relay, jammers cut out and Zana reported that the situation was secure. Perhaps he hadn't taken any lives today, droid or otherwise, but Sirus was very task-minded, and he had accomplished said task with a bit of stealth and guile. Truly, he might've even disabled the relay before the fighting started. It was not actually that hard, once he got past the line. The jamming made it even easier. Rough as it was, they had secured the base and its automated defenses to cover their operation. The dig was now underway.

"On a cosmological scale this won't take long, but I hope you brought a deck of cards."

Sirus blinked. Actually, that was one of the things he hadn't brought with him. Among all of his personal gear, that was one of the things he lacked. Of course, these datapads came built-in with their own software games, but he would rather read. One thing was for certain: The state of the place, he probably couldn't reassemble any of these droids and reprogram them to stall any unwanted visitors in the time in the time allotted to the digging and cutting, most likely. And with that in mind, it was practically not worth it. As it stood, he did pull out a few bits and bobs for whatever need he might have. You never know.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

After six hours, Sirus had fiddled around, read some things, and taken time to get some rest. By no means did he want to be unprepared for this, so when the announcement was made that they were ready, he hopped to his feet and came to the hole. He was there in time to catch the rope instructions, not that he needed them. He had equipment like that with him already. Nevertheless, he took hold of his own rope.

"I won't be accompanying you here, my expertise is of no use down there."

"If you say so, Zana."

Heading down into the shaft, Sirus was mentally prepared for this. You couldn't inflict horrors upon the horrifying. Even if this place had surprises for him, he had confidence in that maelstrom that was his mind. It had become desensitized to many things as a rule...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The training room was fairly large with round pillars, made of stone and - given the amount of it on the walls and floor - blood. His Master - a man called Zaras Renn - was an Inquisitor of exceptional mental power. He maintained a grip with a lasting effect on many acolytes - his knives - that only needed to be topped off every now and again by his capable presence. It was his task, his pleasure, to make sure each of his students performed as close to flawlessly as they could. This was why he always handed him a pathetic implement, ill-suited to the task at hand. He wanted his knives to be able to improvise and endure whatever challenges to a successful conclusion. Today was slightly different, however, as Sirus stood in the training room opposite a burly Gamorrian with naught but his own pants on.
"You have excelled in difficult situations using the knife, the sword, the axe, the spear, the force pike, the vibroblade, and - in fact - a number of devices never even meant for combat. You have killed at my whim and instructed in the manner that I wish. Your potential as an assassin is great. But...before I hand you a saber and truly put you upon the path of death and destruction wielded by your hand, I must be certain of your commitment, that no inconvenience or bloody task will deter you."
"What is this task?"
"You will kill this worm, and do so bare-handed. He is both physically strong AND desperate, for he fights to stay alive and to be spared more the empire's 'persuasion'. The only way he will leave alive is through you. And the only way you will live is by killing him no matter how viceral and distressing it might be. Begin."
It was as before, to begin with. The sizing up of opponents, squaring off and looking for the best mode of attack. The Gamorrian was thick-skinned, durable, and physically stronger than him. It was, however, laughable in terms of agility and speed, something Sirus had in spades. It would almost-surely have no technique or style, but it would have desperation. A few hours with Inquisitor Renn was enough for anyone to go mad. right now, that attitude bade it to stomp forward and swing a punch at him. Sirus met it with a block and punched it in the snout. A grunt of pain followed, but then so did the left cross that struck the cheekbone. There, yes. The Gamorrian had broadcasted its intentions. It would endure anything to get in close and beat him around.
Ducking the next punch, Sirus grabbed the arm and turned to land an elbow in the side before rolling away, getting up a few feet away. The Gamorrian charged him with an angry squeal and Sirus went in low to clothesline its stomach in passing. Damage was negligable, a sore spot and nothing else, but then he kicked into a kneepit and jumped to force the alien's snout into the ground hard. It rolled around, throwing him off, got up as he did, and then Sirus impacted its throat, dead center! Wide eyes, suddenly gasping for air now, he had not trouble in ramming it off-balance to land on its back once more. There, he spotted his target, the reason for this whole fight. He had little choice but to end it one way, and one way only: Sirus buried his fingers hard into the eyes and pressed as far as he could go. The horrific squeal and thrashing was both loud and weak, ineffectual at this juncture, as Sirus plunged until he hit brain and finished this fight.
"Very good, Sirus. You are ready."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The bottom of the hole was lit only in red, and not very much. The door was before them, but what a door! No doubt, the man wanted absolutely nothing to penetrate this passage unduly. The others were silent, perhaps waiting for another to chance the door. Without the control panel, it was unlocked, so therefore Sirus began to work it open...but not without care. If there was anything on the other end, he wanted to roll aside and out of harm's way. Once inside, they had pressure and air. So, despiite needing to switch to a new voice chip, this place was quite functional. That was both good AND bad. Sirus considered keeping his suit handy, possibly folding it up and strapping it to his back.

"Four thousand three hundred eighty-nine years! Ever since those nice gentlemen and ladies from the Jedi Order. If you'll look to your left you'll see the last remains of the last one to die."

The light saber in the corner did not inspire confidence, though. The owner of the weapon probably died horribly, which meant one could just as easily lose a suit as much as his life, thus making his return to the surface impossible. Antillas introduced himself and asked them to remove their suits. A quick check of the room they'd come in clearly made it the best airlock system money could buy (in that era) and therefore marginally-safer than the rest of the complex, though that much was still in doubt. Still, what could you do but pretend some courtesy. Besides, he was going to need 100% in here, and his suit was too bulky for that. He folded it and put it off to the side. The curator was probably hard-coded to preserve and defend all that lay within from theft or destruction. Putting aside for a moment who programmed it and the question of its sanity, it may not attack them right off. Not unless it believed they were out to do exactly what they were out to do. Sirus decided to address the machine on the level that it offered to converse in at this time.

"This place is something of a mystery to us, Antillas. What sort of articles are you in charge of here?"

"This museum specializes in the history of the Jedi-Sith Conflict, with artifacts dating back to the first schism roughly thirty thousand years ago to the glorious rise of the New Order. Unfortunately several recent artifacts that should have ended here like sample B-2332-54 ended up at the Tantiss Facility, but no use crying over severed hands." The speakers made a chittering sound like mandibles clicking together in rapid sequence. "I'm afraid that the catalog is behind a field of restriction so I cannot divulge it. Switching to tertiary control grid."

There was a sound like someone was grinding stones together, and then a new voice emerged, this one resembling a Kuati accountant on depressant drugs. "Intruder alert. Facility is breached. All operational machine life prepare to repel the attack. Glory to the metal, glory to the circuit."

Nothing happened yet, but there were distant sounds, the clatter of metal feet on metal floors and the distant hum of charging capacitors.

Thalo was listening the the droid, clearly amused at its odd behavior. "Ooooh, a museum. Sounds lovely! It's like we're pulling off a heist!" he said, taking off his suit. When his attention was brought to the fallen Jedi, he clapped his hands in giddy excitement "Hahahahaha! Perfect! You certainly know how to get a visitor's attention!" he said, laughing some more as Sirus started asking questions.

"Intruder alert. Facility is breached. All operational machine life prepare to repel the attack. Glory to the metal, glory to the circuit."

"Oh... well that's not fun..." he said, his tone becoming serious. "Of course the droids have gone wonky in all that time." he sighed. "I guess it's time for a little more fighting." He closed his eyes for a second, trying to see if he could feel just how many assailants were incoming. Not exactly as easy as searching for living things, but he could at least get a general picture of what was coming.

'More waiting. Frustrating.'

Aria had no lack of patience, but the prospect of a six hour wait to breach the entrance was not a pleasant one. Still, she'd waited longer than that crammed in the transport ship. A few more hours wouldn't hurt, she supposed. To pass the time, she found a sufficient clearing to sit and meditate. It was a way not only to kill time, but a way to rest and re-center her thoughts. After making herself about as comfortable as she was going to get, she took a deep breath and surrendered herself to the current of the Force that flowed through her. She could feel her body preparing to enter a deep trance, not at all dissimilar from sleep. Soon enough, the blackness crept over her and she went under.

[hr]

"My Lord, I apologize for disturbing you, but we have discovered the access hatch. The others are ready to descend."

The commando's voice was muddled, as if he were underwater. Regardless, it was enough to pull Aria from her meditative state. She slowly awoke, feeling a bit more rested.

"I appreciate your report," she replied. "I will assemble with the others momentarily."

After giving herself more time to fully awake, Aria rose to her feet and met with the other eight Sith. Another commando gave her a brief instruction on how to use the grappling devices attached to the cables that sank into the abyss in front of them. She nodded and got a solid grip, pulling the right trigger as instructed.

[hr]

The ancient facility had the air of a glorified tomb. Even after all this time, this place had a persistent aura of the dark side. Sidious had truly been a powerful Sith Lord, worthy of the legend surrounding him. This place only confirmed it.

She had only enough time to eye the discarded lightsaber, as pointed out by the curious disembodied voice, before another voice sounded. This one meant trouble. Through the Force, she could sense approaching enemies. Droids. In an instant, she had her lightsaber out, her blade aimed in a defensive stance.

"I anticipated this would not be a simple excursion," she quipped dryly. "Droids do make for adequate target practice, at the very least."

The door ahead slid open and what shambled through was anything but a standard combat droid - or any kind of droid at all. Even before the doors opened they sensed it, immensely powerful presences in the Dark Side, untamed and uncontrolled but with so much raw power that the Force seemed caught in a storm.

Then came the sound, synthetic screeches and bleats in a hideous cacophony.

Then the doors slid open and the creatures stepped and slithered through - there were five, each a nauseating monstrosity. Bare, bloody skinless flesh, dragging and lurching itself forward by long claw like fingers on legs that dragged uselessly on fused knees and mismatched femurs. Eyes that burned red and yellow, locked wide open and unable to blink by wires, mouths that were wide and open and hungry, filled with even white teeth. Prosthetics were everywhere on the creatures, replacing eyes on some and twisted helpless limbs on others.

"Kill the intruders! For every one that dies at your hands another piece of the accursed flesh will be replaced!"

As one the four let out a screech from their one common implant, a metal box on their throats, and charged, swiping at the Sith with immensely powerful, clumsy fists and buffeting waves of the Force.

Thalo took a moment to observe them before being knocked back by a wave of the Force. "They're... not bad." he said, trying to find a weakness. "But it's like a picture made only in black and white, or a soothing bit of jizz lacking a proper floonorp. Something's missing..." He tried to use the force to try and subdue one, but he learned quickly that it wasn't going to work. "Ech. Their minds are barely even there." He drew his lightsaber, igniting the purple blade. "Shame to waste such potential... but such is life." He tossed it at the nearest one, guiding it with the force to hack off what could generously be described as a hand. Thalo cried out in amusement, but found his lightsaber now flying across the room, barely dodging it as it landed behind him. The creature seemed completely unfazed.

"Well... that didn't go as planned." he said, recalling his saber to his hand. He started rummaging through his robe, searching for what he hoped would aid the group. "Uh, you guys go ahead and try your own ideas. I have one of my own right... here!" he said, managing to pull out a sabriquet. "You know what they say about music and the savage beast..." he said, jumping back to get some distance.

Ja'Ysr was ripped from his quiet surveillance of the so-called museum, spinning on a heel to the sound of someone or something unhappy with the group's appearance. And in retaliation, released a monstrous horde of abominations. The amount of force oozing from these things were almost enough to disrupt the previous tangs of dark force that ebbed through the enclosure. Ja'Ysr felt no need to back down from this skirmish.

"Back from whence you came-!" It was an archaic phrase for sure, but he meant every word of it. With a look of sheer disgust cracking his face, he equipped both his blasters, and released a hail of red bolts upon the nearest monstrosity. It screeched in return before sending out a wave of Force that sent him flying into support pillar.

It lunged for him and pinned him down. "GREEEEECH!" It screamed in his face. "Silence." He replied, rolling from under it, only to barely miss the swipe of its prosthetic hand. Distancing himself to his best ability, the Chiss held out a hand, in attempts as using the Force to choke his opponent into submission.

"Kneel, you monster." Much to his surprise, the attack did nothing to slow the monster down. "I said, kneel!" He seethed. Instead, the creature spun, using a backhanded blast of force to smash Ja'Ysr into another wall. And even as Ja'Ysr fired back at the beast, his blasts did nothing but carelessly burn through its skin, with nary a sign of pain in return.

"Dammit." He holstered his blasters, and instead reached for his lightsaber. The beast made a ferocious beeline for him once more. Ja'Ysr took a deep breath, and steeled himself for the inevitable.

"Well this is far more interesting than droids at the very least." Lampay said as the beasts lumbered out, though he quickly had to go silent as he dodged the charge of one of the beasts and activated his lightsaber in the process. When the beast wheeled around and tried to charge again he dodged again and cut it, but it only seemed to make it angrier as he was suddenly flung across the room. He was able to catch himself and not injure himself as he landed near the wall.

"That would explain why the jedi died." It seemed he couldn't even come close to injuring them without being flung like a ragdoll.

Well, the computer curator seemed amicable enough at first, but he was no testament to his programmer. Either time or a bad fault had dried up whatever subtlety the AI had for a double-doss of the wackies, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtjkYF-nv1I] Although not unexpected, the facility turned against them a little sooner than expected. Antillas had changed in Sirus' perspective. While he fully-expected the betrayal, to see it happening so soon was...disappointing. Now, there was a sound that might've been more droids incoming, but that is not what came at all. No no no... Others thought it was droids, and for a moment so did he...but then the force sense hit them and dispelled such thoughts as the last doors opened and...

Okay, nothing could have prepared me for this. Not at all.

They were a shambling mess, a shambling mass: Five disfigured figures whose pain and torment was palpable, the likes of whom his former Master would be unable to inflict more 'persuasion' upon. Pain was compounded to the point where there was nothing else, the threashold exceeded without the blissful release of unconsciousness or death. That was what those wails and screeches said to him. And worse? They were definitely intelligent. Otherwise, why would Antillas entice them so? One of the things charged with a synthesized scream and came at them, flailing its force-empowered arms from across the room. Thalo did a saber-throw at it and had it unkindly returned, zipping by his head as he ducked.

"Well... that didn't go as planned."

The other Sith then reached into his robes and pulled out...an instrument? Was he serious? Sirus had been considering grenades, but now - with that saber having flown back at them, he was thinking...no. Instead, he did exactly as you'd expect from him. A Sith had gotten the first thing's attention and he decided to improvise the situation. The no-longer-a-man creature was wild and out of control, now taking on Ja'Ysr. Sirus cloaked attacked from behind, a quick slice - one saber active only - from one side to the other as one would use a longsword, attempting to swiftly decapitate the first of the five creatures.

Under the barrage of sabers and blasters the lead abomination reeled, smoking holes pulsing out thick dark blood and foul smelling chemicals, the holes cutting through flesh and armor to show pulsing organs and sparking components, glistening gray bone and durasteel ribs. The creature was hurt.

The creature didn't seem to notice or care.

Caught between Ja'ysr and Sirus the creature batted about itself with flailing twisted limbs and the raw power of the Force, keeping the two Sith mostly at bay. Sirus' strike managed to slip through, gouging a deep dark hole in the monster's right shoulder that made the arm go limp, and for a moment the creature was off kilter, a massive blast of energy backwards sending Sirus sprawling, but it was disoriented, one arm short. It was vulnerable.

Meria eyed the creatures, looking for an opening. The droids were too easy but these... creatures... seemed like a worthy fight indeed. What had been an easy mission so far, now had turned interesting. The other Sith descended upon the lead creature with some varying degrees of success but in their attack, Meria saw an opening to end one of the miserable abominations. One of them was struck in the arm and thus wasn't able to use it. A Sith was sent reeling because of its attack but it was off-center and that was all Meria needed.

She charged at the creature with blinding speed, her cybernetic legs carried her swiftly. With both hands, she aimed her lightsaber for the creature's midsection and brought it up as she closed the distance. Then, with a powerful swing, Meria raised her lightsaber at the creature but she kept moving. Meria didn't want to be close in case she missed or the creature was still alive so she continued her sprint before stopping, making sure she was some distance away from the creature which also left within range of the other creatures nearby.

Meria used the force to push some of them away but whether or not that would stop them was another matter entirely.

Thalo saw a trio of his fellow Sith take out one of those beasts, but they each were vulnerable at this moment. "Well, perhaps this can help." He started playing his sabriquet, an eerie unnatural sound emanating from the instrument. He focused on his allies and the foes they were facing. Suddenly, many copies of the various Sith started appearing all around the room. He was counting on the beasts to be too mindless and angry to instantly see through it, either lashing out or at least becoming momentarily confused.

Come on now... take the shot, guys... He was trying to disrupt their focus so the waves of the Force wouldn't be quite as powerful, but at the moment the illusions took priority.

Sirus made it vulnerable, and was more than enough of an opening for the Chiss warrior. After the attack by Meria, He readied his lightsaber, and blasted towards his target. The attack was performed in less than a blink. Sliding to a short stop behind the failed clone, Ja'Ysr didn't need to turn back to know he separated (what remained of) the clone's head from beyond its shoulders.

"Hmph. Abomination." He replied with a scoff. But, as soon he turned to inspect the work done by he and his fellow Sith, its body collapsed into an explosion. The blast was big enough to blow him off kilter and shower him with shrapnel, with a ball of flame that easily ate through his robe. What couldn't be immediately deflected, ended up ripping through the rest of the robe, his armor, his flesh, muscle, and bone. The shockwave knocked him clean off of his feet. "They explode. Wonderful." He groaned, slow to rise. "Not down, not out." He added, doing his best to ignore the grisly collection of thick, shredded metal protruding from his left arm and shoulder.

He missed. Well, sort of. He didn't hit the spot he intended, since the idea was to quickly decapitate the creature. Unfortunately, all that flailing around made him only critically harm it - which CAN mean death in the right situation for target AND attacker - but in this case the freakish monstrosity threw him across the room with the force. Sirus' training kicked in and he rolled, but his roll hit a wall and he ended up in a sitting-against-the-wall position, feeling some of that impact. This was considerably less-harmful than what happened next, though. Among other attacks, he saw one of the other Sith make the first kill and cause the enemy to explode? With all the pieces flitting about when that happened, these Sith-creatures were fragmentation mines with limbs...

Well, that one didn't reach me, but the next one might.

He got up. What else could he do? Being thrown was neither new nor especially painful. He'd been thrown, chucked, clawed, zapped, cut, and rammed before...although, some of those did more lasting harm than others. The point is that he survived and the other did not. Now, Sirus had noticed something about these lumbering Sith-beings. Their strength was in their ignorance of pain and their berserker swings of the arms. Not so much was working for them in the leg department. They were not fast, and they were not very aware of much more than what's in front of them or harming them. That was good, in a way. He had an idea. Sirus waited for a moment that seemed to work for what he planned, and then took a leap into a force-assisted slide with his saber out in front of him and engaged in both directions. Specifically, it was pointing to his left and right, and then separated so that he could slice the two individual sabers at the ankles of some foes - He made sure that he was NOT too close to his fellow Sith, as they would abhor losing their feet. - in order to try his hand at crippling the things further. If your enemy cannot stand, his fighting ability is halved or worse, and these lot were barely standing as is.

The wait wasn't too bad for Sitris, but it was murder on her patience. Six hours wasn't a time she could just sit and do nothing. But once they could descend, she was relieved she didn't have to wait any longer. The feeling she got when they descended seemed to somewhat intoxicate her as she gave into parts of it. This power I feel, it could be mine, and mine alone! However, she had to resist it so that it wouldn't take her sanity away, or whatever was left of it. Ungh...no, not now. Co-operate now, betray later.

Once they had descended, a voice started talking to them after a few moments. It didn't interest Sitris much, until it suddenly changed and a door opened shortly thereafter. What came through it utterly disgusted Sitris. Detestable abominations which emitted Force. She quickly drew her lightsaber, lighting up the red blade and charging towards one of them. It quickly slammed her before she could do much of anything, and she ended up against a wall with the wind mostly knocked out of her. These creatures were surprisingly strong, but it wouldn't stop Sitris.

It took her a few moments before she stood back up. "Okay, new plan." She put her lightsaber down after turning the blade off and held her hands in front of her. "Have a taste of this!" She fired Force Lightning from her fingertips at one of the creatures, paying no attention to when one of them exploded due to what two of the others had done. "Die, you freaks!"

The The three remaining creatures seemed to lose what semblance of a mind they had after the death of their comrade, exacerbated by the discordant music and the illusions. Their force waves became erratic and their defenses weakening, Sitris' lightning blasting through one's barriers to set their cybernetics into a convulsive frenzy. One fell to the ground, metal legs and arm twitching and shaking so hard the flesh they were rooting in began to tear.

The remaining two backed away, pressing close together. They all bore marks, massive burns from blaster and saber and lightning, flesh hanging off them in ribbons. Despite the terrible damage they had suffered the two of them seemed eager to continue the fight. As one they leapt into the group, their flailing limbs striking Thalo hard enough to slam him against a wall, and massive buffets of the Force slammed into Sitris. All their attention seemed focused on those two, perhaps the monsters sought revenge.

Thalo was slammed against the wall, dropping his instrument. He got up in a daze, barely managing to get out of the way, tossing his lightsaber again at the beast's arms to give him enough time to get his sabriquet and jump away. He shot lightning at it, trying to slow it down, leaping around to the other Sith. "Come on over, stupid beast! See what happens when you interrupt perfection!" He tried to call his lightsaber back to his from behind it, but another force wave sent it in the opposite direction, embedding it in the wall. He cursed in frustration but tried to give his fellow Sith some cover with lightning, hoping the other beast was still occupied with Sitris.
